Tack another one onto the “I loved Unity and didn’t have a single technical issue with it” list.
I don’t understand why people still buy games. Seriously rent that shit dude. if you really love it, buy it on the cheap. It’s like modern gamers forgot that they can still rent this shit like Netflix.
Me too, I have been requesting this game be made after every AC game. Though in my ideal version, you cover a huge range of European locations in the 19th Century. London, Paris, Prague, Berlin, etc. Nikolai Tesla serving as the games “Da Vinci”. And of course a grappling hook weapon thingy. :)
I am excited to play…
I enjoyed the hell out of it post-fixes.
I don’t know man, I haven’t played an AC game yet that I didn’t enjoy on some level. The first game and III are arguably the least interesting. But at least they keep changing the locations and time periods. Black Flag was not only one of the best AC games, it was one of the best games in recent memory. Unity was…
Wow, dude you are like 10 years behind the times. Gamefly.
It’s basically Netflix for Video Games. And if you like a game you have rented, they will let you keep it, and you pay the difference (plus you get a discount). And they will even send you the packaging/booklet.
I have been a Gamefly member for over 10 years.…
LOL, you must be new to video games.
Who even buys games anymore? Just rent.
Probably removed for the Joy Division tshirt. Also, who eats Hot Pockets anymore?
My thoughts exactly.
Crafting, harvesting, hunting... zzzzzzzzzzzz... I think I’m done with these mechanics for awhile. They have basically become the padding of the modern indie game. Yawn.
Did you play the arcade game?
Rondo of Blood is linear, but it has crazy branching paths (as I mentioned before). SotN was the first CV of it’s style, but almost all of the handheld titles were also metroidvania style. So maybe those would appeal to you the most.
My biggest issue with it, is they did away with almost everything I loved about part 1. Such as the eclectic, and diverse environments. They set it all in one location, but that location just felt super repetitive, and I was bored out of my mind by the time I finished it.
Oh you absolutely must play Castlevania: Rondo of Blood. It’s basically the prequel to SotN. It even has some of the same sprites, and enemy models. The only downside to this game, is it was a PC Engine only title. BUT, if you do some light google searching, there is a fully translated to Windows version online. The…
Yeah, sold, American... or Japanese. She is such a boss when it comes to fashioning Baroque melodies.
Lords of Shadow 1 was one of my favorite games of the past decade or so, but part 2 was such a huge letdown. I would say, don’t even bother with it.
Yeah that was pretty amazing. I bet he has a pile of secrets.
We just did a Creation Records set as part of a larger Indie record labels tribute event: http://dancingghosts.com/legacy-labels/
