Yeah that was essentially what I said in my last reply to someone else ;)

To be fair, tons of games have been hyped up, and delivered in each generation. But just as many were hyped up and fell flat on their faces. I will agree that this new industry standard of post-release patching has made the industry a little too lazy about releasing unfinished, or unfixed content. I just tend to judge

you can literally hit the menu, and exit the game in less than 5 seconds. When you reload, you will appear in the exact same area with the same gear/souls/etc.

Bloodborne: First Impressions.

Oh yeah I have the PS4 hooked up to a monitor on our coffee table, but she is watching the movie on the PS4 :P

It's ok, I'd rather start late, so I can really soak in the atmosphere of Bloodborne.

I love comments like this, because it is literally the same thing every gaming generation. I always forget that for a lot of people, gaming only has like two generations. Sucks getting old lol.

Yep, and it can look terrible, as it did in the classic 70's animated The Fellowship of the Ring. Sleeping Beauty is imho the best classic Disney film.

You think that's bad?? I have the game in my hands, but I have to wait for my gf to finish watching "Jersey Boys"!!!! God I hate Frankie Valli right now! :P

Rotoscoping is such an interesting technique. I believe they used in in the original Tale Spin for all of the plane animations.

As a Souls player that went through the previous three titles with a low armor, in your face, till I Ninja flip out of the way kind of play style; will the shift in offensive focused combat feel natural to me, and be an easy transition? Or does the game mix things up enough that I should probably rethink my previous

Yeah it works off of Insight points. Which you collect during gameplay I guess (haven't picked it up yet). You use these points for summoning or to be summoned, and now when you summon another player you also open yourself to invasions. Also their is procedurally generated Chalice Dungeons, you can save and share with

Let me guess, you were born in 1995?

Aww yeah stupid Gawker. I was referring to Darkeus last comment.

I know for a fact the game now has a hub world, like Demon's Nexus.

How many actual adults are you around in a day?

I think you are confusing Souls players with non-Souls players. Because every Souls player I have met says that the games are "challenging but fair", and I completely agree. It's the people who read reviews and listen to other whine about the games that call it "hardest game ever".

Reposting this to the general readers of this article.

Everytime I see a FromSoft game posted, it's always the same, a flood of complaining and frustration from people who have never touched a Souls game.

Well, I'll try to explain what the experience is like playing these games.

His comment is dead on though. You are missing the forest for the trees here. It wasn't even remotely rude, he's talking about the very essence of the franchise.

Demon's Souls is probably the most challenging of the series, and will require a whole lot of trial and error gameplay. It's unforgiving, until you get used to it.

Look, the games are really amazing. I feel remiss to let someone go without playing them due to an unfortunate bias.

I'll try to explain what the experience

Dude, you have no clue. The souls players are the most helpful players I've run into, in any subgenre, or fandom. Only condescending to people who refuse to even listen to what makes the games appealing to us. If you spent 20 minutes typing a reply to someone trying to explain something you love to them, and trying to
