Yeah I would say that the winner of Soul Calibur is whatever player I was controlling. Where do these games state that any of them had a clear champion? I thought every fighting game was basically open ended, depending on who you beat the SP mode with?

Yep! That Fox dub is still the best version of the movie imho (after the original of course). I must have watched that thing a hundred times too!

That's because it was probably running on an optimized PC, and that early build likely only contained a few areas (as the game was still in development). Check the screenshots for any game that came out in the past 15 years as they appeared in Magazines like Play, EGM, etc. Those shots are always either taken from a

I trust Miyazaki, and I would bet money that you will be pleasantly surprised by the final product. He's not the kind of designer to "dumb down" his games. He's an eccentric, creative soul. Who loves throwing in novel gameplay elements, and re-writing existing gaming conventions.

I'm pretty sure that walk was accomplished by having the analog stick only slightly pushed up. I can almost guarantee you that you will still be able to swagger though the levels if you just barely push forward.

This demo is obviously not made to show off the swag of the protagonist, like that first atmospheric reveal

There are a lot of good reasons to pick up a PS4, this is just the best one.

I don't understand how people still don't get this? A game designed exclusively for the PS4, IS going to look exactly like that. Dark Souls II was designed for the last gen consoles and PC. This one doesn't have the baggage or limitations of our last console generation.

Ignoring all the haters, who don't understand the concept of console exclusive games....

Keza, thank you for this post. It answers a ton of lingering questions I've had rattling around since that gamescom demo was posted. If From Soft wasn't already my favorite current dev, this game just might cement that position

Obvious troll is obvious. Only assholes with no life, have the time to talk to other people they have never met in real life like that. Enjoy your lonely miserable life. It's ironic you call me antisocial, when you are the type of person to call the staff of the blog you are posting on "retarded" for not knowing how

I was going to respond to you in earnest, but after clicking your name and reading your recent comments, I'm not going to bother. I don't see a single positive word uttered from that negative keyboard of yours. Go be a downer somewhere else.

You most definitely need to own at least Totoro!!!

Anytime is a good time for a Ghibli Marathon imho!

Have you ever lost a pet before? The first one is always the hardest. My first cat was a stray kitten I found stuck in a telephone pole. We became best friends, and she and I were inseparable. I lost her suddenly while she was still quite young. Maybe 3 years old. I must have been about 11 or 12. I grieved for her,

Yeah we tried our hardest to save our kitty with kidney failure, and eventually had to let him go. But my gf and I have decided that we're just going to leave our current oldest alone if we ever have to deal with something like that again. We want her to just live out her last years in peace, and go when she is called.

For me, I'm weird. I don't really get humans like I get cats and other animals, so I've always taken the loss of one of my fuzzy family members way harder than I take the death of a distant relative. Or even my grandparents. I think it might be because I only saw those family members maybe once a year, where as my

Awwwww that's so awesome! Our sweet boy passed away a few years back. Ramses was 14 and had kidney issues. He was a gigantic Norwegian Forest Cat. I held his paw as he went under. He and I were very, very close. I wanted to create a tribute like this, but could never bring myself to start it, without breaking down.

Thanks! That last track was from Porco Rosso. It appears in the Ending Credits sequence. And is one of my all time favorite Ghibli songs. Also the lyrics are about reflecting on the past. Seemed fitting to end the mix with. :)

That's heartbraking!!

I made this for Totoro's Birthday last year. Figured it would be appreciated in this thread as well.

I was hanging on till last season, and then I just couldn't take it anymore. My gf and I didn't even bother with this final season.
