IRL, yes. But this is a TV show where a costume designer makes every single wardrobe choice. Everything the actors are wearing is intentional.

Eh, I’ve seen many doctors about meds and therapy and only one has ever treated my desire to stay off SSRIs/my side effects on them like they mattered. That’s what most doctors/medical professionals are like.

Sometimes they do though. Numbness is a very common side effect of SSRIs. I’m glad the show is presenting medication as a valid option, but I wish the song had given more weight to side effects. SSRIs have terrible side effects for lots of people and medical professionals often brush then off. To also have this

I’m not here for the suggestion that body positivity isn’t for everyone. You can’t dislude thin or straight sized women and keep it body positivity. That’s basically saying all smaller people must feel good about their bodies and all larger people must feel bad about their bodies.

Yes and no. It’s true that you’ll lose weight if you eat less than you burn, but it’s not true you can simply cut calories without any other side effects. What and how much you way and whether or not you’ve lost or gained weight—all of that effects how many calories you burn.

What about the least twenty years of covers? Non-category romance covers don’t look anything like they did in the Fabio era. If anything, traditional publishers are still putting out 50SoG style covers (though that is waning).

Yea and no. There aren’t covers that look like these anymore, not for non-category books. There are still little of embracing couples and half-naked dudes, but the popular design style is more minimalist.

Eh, AK is also an authority figure and lawyer, an a corrupt lawyer at that (though it’s been awhile since she’s tried a case).

This show has always been a soap that happens to have a diverse cast, with the exception of Annaliese. I have a different perspective after watching all of Scandal during the break (please do not make the same mistake. It has all the same problems this show does, turned up to 11, with far fewer relatable characters).

Bansky is totally in love with Holden. That’s why he’s all queer panic homophobic over the top about how much he loves the ladies. It’s like the climax of the movie.

It’s possible the friend he asked was not invited because Samantha doesn't like them. It's not probable, but it's possible.

I think he needs to discuss her behavior if he’s planning to bring future GFs into their group. He could also play it by ear and see if she’s more chill about the next GF.

This one dragged a little, but I loved seeing Lilian rise to power as a gang leader. It’s a perfect alt reality for her.

I like the premise of someone who missed out on adolescence and the last 15 years of the world. It’s a classic fish out of water scenario, but through the twisted lens of a horrible traumatic event.

That is a thing people say. The way the episode presents it, it’s clearly an absurd reaction to Me too.

Yeah, the very fact that Lilian is saying it underscores how absurd it is.

Yes, and other people are allowed to dislike it.

They’re different enough to be bad, but not different enough to be interesting.

Counterpoint: no it’s not.

I would like to read this Tutuola/Munch fanfiction you speak of.
