It was only a few years ago, when David Colthard took a Red Bull car around Jersey, in hopes to gin up support for a NYC race.  I still get a kick out of the YouTube video of the car charging through the Lincoln tunnel. The best video is of video from security/traffic cams, as the car zips by.
