Sounds like this is only useful if you are viewing through a browser.  Personally I watch most streaming outside of YouTube through my Rokus......as do most of the people I’d be inclined to share with.

To be fair, I think you have the same risk regardless. At least with Netflix (I think, I’m to lazy to double check - so correct me if I’m wrong), if you can log in - you can do pretty much anything you want with the account.  So this wouldn’t protect you - except maybe you wouldn’t be able to change the password…
