Honestly, I don’t care if people want to write their magnum opus about the recipe - and if there are people out there who actually read and enjoy it, that is lovely. Put the recipe at the top and your life story after it. Thus if people want to read how your great-grandparents personally won World War II with this

read exactly one personal essay (provided to lend context to a recipe)

Personally, I think you are more at risk of getting malware (granted this is ideally only an additional layer of protection) than people snooping on your DNS but to each their own.

The problem isn’t that their aren’t other apps that focus on that (Arcus being my preferred app) but that most of them use the DarkSky API (forecast.io) which they will be shutting down.  The good news there is they won’t be shutting it down till the end of 2021 so hopefully replacements can be found/developed.

Except the TOS you agree to typically define only members of your household may also use your logins. So, while technically there is no difference between whether you and SO watch 20 hours concurrently and if you and an friend who lives elsewhere watch 20 hours concurrently - you are still violating the agreement you

Sounds like this is only useful if you are viewing through a browser.  Personally I watch most streaming outside of YouTube through my Rokus......as do most of the people I’d be inclined to share with.

Personally, I am of the opinion jump/fall back a half hour and stay there.

Hmmm.....that curious - I turned it on in Firefox, but the Cloudflare page show it isn’t active.

Yeah, I only started getting the flu shot 2 years ago after I realized it was possible to get the flu without manifesting symptoms. So now I get the shot to further reduce the risk of the minuscule chance that a flu virus manages to leap off me on to someone whom it might kill.

The comments are a fascinating look at how many people have not read the article.

My problem with this idea would be the cost involved.  I’d work on teaching him how to pick off the crust with minimal bread.

Depends on the investment.  Money in retirement accounts could be tax free.

Like everything it is going to be circumstantial. If you can knock out a debt in a short period of time by focusing on it - then you probably should. However, if your deciding between putting $5500/yr toward to say a low interest mortgage that will still take you 10+ years to pay off or your Roth IRA, your probably

It is sad to see how once great freeware has fallen.

My guess is one episode at a time.

One other piece of advice if you use Google Voice, do not set your Google Voice # as your recovery number. I can’t remember the specifics but I had a friend who once got locked out of his Google account and couldn’t get the verification because it was being sent to his Google Voice number which he didn’t have access
