So, y’all know how to do this pretty easily - and yet you didn’t?

Well, Google is on the verge of making your wish come true.

Granted, it is easier said than done.

I actually don’t really have a problem with tipping as a concept. If I want to give someone a little something for service, that is my business and is fine. I just don’t like how it is a social expectation that has effectively enshrined in law by allowing certain types of employees to be paid less than minimum wage.

That is simple, do away with laws that allow businesses to pay less than minimum wage and let the market sort it out.

But the point both the NYT and the state of New Jersey are trying to make is that we aren’t prepared for a truly cashless society. Not yet, anyway.

I’ve always considered sending a thank you note one of those things from an older business world that probably doesn’t mean much today. That said it is something that cost you little and just might make the difference when all other things are equal. Might as well give yourself that little edge.

Well, the way she is doing it - I don’t know that it is. For me throwing everything in the pot and walking away is easier than doing it on the stove though.

Wish we could drop Kinja instead.

No one gets out alive, might as well enjoy what I can while I am here.

They should state “no pictures” before a person is seated so the person can decide if they still want to eat there.

I can respect that, but if they want a “no photo” policy it should be posted where I can see it before I am seated.

Some people enjoy the moment by taking pictures.

Some people actually do look at their own photos. I have a screensaver set up on my TV (that 95% of time I am the only one looking at) that displays photos I’ve taken and I’ve never posted to Instagram. If it was well plated (and if I actually liked sushi) I’d of taken the picture and would have enjoyed seeing it with

I am pretty sure Bill Cosby’s accusers would like to have word with you about this.

Fair enough.

I see no need to remove the apps - I just turn off the notifications and look at the apps when I want too.

It isn’t the time it takes for the website. It is that it makes certain elements of my work sites difficult to read by ignoring line breaks. Supposedly this is being worked on but till it is fixed, no updates allowed.

I have a choice between upgrading and being able to do my job. Guess what I’m not doing any time soon.
