The problem in this case seems to be less with overbooking and with they were shuttling some employees around (deadheading). You would think the paying customer would get priority and they would figure out how to get the employee where they need them. I can see trying to get a volunteer but if no one is going for it

Yes. He can contribute up to $5500 ($6500 if over 50) to his own IRA.

You can only put $5500/yr ($6500 if over 50) in IRA accounts. This is across all IRA accounts whether traditional or Roth. If you max out your IRA contribution there are a number of other types of retirement accounts that might benefit you (and this is where I advise you talk to a financial planner)

If your 401k has a match, fund it up to the match. Then fund a Roth IRA (most people benefit more from Roth than a traditional IRA, consult a financial advisor for your specific financial situation) up to the yearly max. Then continue funding the 401k.

If they are not matching it is better to fund a Roth IRA (most people benefit more from Roth than a traditional IRA, consult a financial advisor for your specific financial situation) to the max as you have more control over what you invest in. Once you max the IRA then open the 401k. If they start offering a match

Fund the 403b up to the match (don’t leave money on the table), then max a Roth IRA (most people benefit more from a Roth than a traditional IRA, consult a financial advisor for your specific financial situation), then continue adding to the 403b.

Fund a Roth IRA (most people benefit more from Roth than a traditional IRA, consult a financial advisor for yor specific financial situation). Only do a 401k if there is a employer match (don’t leave money on the table) or you have maxed your IRA contribution.

The point here is that if you have the money (and although left unsaid I think can be reasonably implied) and are meeting your financial responsibilities (including things like emergency savings, retirement, etc) then spend it if you don’t have another specific goal set for it (or are least willing to put off that

I would argue that this article is written for those who have overcomed those obstacles but are now psychologically scarred by those experience they cannot enjoy what they have achieved because they fear having it happen again.

Yeah.......how is that working out?

They are gross, but that is because I don’t care for pineapple. Otherwise I would suspect they would go well together.

I’m already on Netflix and Amazon. What is sad is that piracy is still often the fastest and easiest way to see what I want.

And now you can do it in Google Maps. The big advantage I see is you get nav and share in one app.

Google already has that information......now my friends will be able to where thy gun me down.

Ah I see it will.

The big difference is that with Trusted Contacts your contact can request your location and if you don’t deny it then it will automatically be sent to them. With this you have to manually give them access every time.

You would think but this is Google - home of Hangouts, Allo, Messages, Duo....and probably one or two I am forgetting.

Nah......what really makes me feel like an entitled shit is the stuff I’m upset for leaving is stuff I own on DVD.

Do your friends and family stalk you? Do you plan on sharing your location with stalkers (that would seem to make it more on you than them)?

Really wish they were. I love Waze’s real time features but prefer Maps UI and the way they report upcoming turns and such. Plus I think Maps gives better directions usually.
