Using marketing as an excuse is amazingly hypocritical. Look at history as well as the show Mad Men. Marketing is and have never been something you should EVER defend.

That is a fair assessment. Sad as it may be.

The corkscrew isn’t a thrill? It’s a blind apex while falling off a cliff...

Technically, on.

It’s the full volume autoplay videos that get me.

It’s a hearse, I hope the ride is heavenly.

There are some but the liability acpect of American culture makes it a pricey endevor. Outside of the US there is something called personal responsibility.

I thought they ran on monster?

Went from Ft. Lauderdale to NJ in a chevy SS. That is the way to travel and still keep the performance for when you want to play. For cruising have it in comfy mode. When the roads get nice, turn the dial and have at it. Not so old at 42 but my body is about 96.

Subarus are very reliable, providing you keep them stockish. That forester has a swapped engine and since I own a swapped subaru, I can tell you they are more trouble than they are worth.

Rotella.

I don't trust dealers to do oil changes.

I’m presently looking at a crosstrek and yes, the resale did come to mind. Not that they have any striking colors available so I’m going with cool grey kaki.

Beige.

That. Is. Awesome.

Watch out for brushless and lipo power. It will chew up the 6 gear trans in a hurry. I have a re-release worlds car with a castle system in it and I have it turned down quite a bit. It’s still plenty fast but even the stealth trans can’t take modern power. I still have my original RC10 and one day I’ll put a modern

The problem with all aluminum stuff is it bends and doesn’t bend back.

Did you run the 5 link or convert it to arms like almost all of them? I still have a chassis and trans somewhere in my box of old RC stuff.

Back in the day I was on the schoolbus stopped at the light and I saw a Kyosho Ultima in the garbage. I ran out and grabbed it. It wasn’t long after Christmas and it was a affluent area so it was a brand new, never run kit. Seems they managed to build it but didn’t tighten the steering servo. Best garbage pick ever.

The GF bought me the re-release Tamiya subaru brat. It was fun to build but I don’t think I will ever run it.
