My friend still uses the one without a scroll wheel.
My friend still uses the one without a scroll wheel.
Who’d use one? Me, like I have since 1999. I still have my old logitech PS/2 one. I buy at least 2 M570s when I see them on sale. They work great for a HTPC, no hard surface needed. Hell you can use the dog if he’s asleep. Nobody uses my computer at work but the learning curve isn’t bad at all. It took the GF maybe an…
They’d be perfect for the salmon colored civic stanced with dangerously stretched tires I saw yesterday. There is also all those lifted trucks with 6 inches of wheel coming out on each side on low profile tires.
It claimed my friend’s 33' Baja. Went up by west point, stopped for lunch at the stripped bass in Tarrytown. After we got the boat on the trailer in Liberty state park I was checking the straps and noticed a quite large hole in the transom. The bilge was working OT during lunch.
It always looked like they sprayed primer, then one skim coat of yellow and sent it out the door.
I’ve been going with NASA-NE for over 15 years now. They are a great bunch of people, the not so great ones get shaken loose. We’ve been doing the T&S duties for a long time now. I love my track family, like minded car people that overall know their shit. Sorry to hear about the health issues. I’ve been dealing with…
That’s possible too. I’ve seen that foolishness in other videos. I never understood burnouts. All that power turning into smoke instead of sweet grip.
NASA-NE event or other? I’ve done many laps at Pocono with NASA. In fact my avatar pic is from Pocono way back in the day. It’s not all vette drivers but in my 15+ years of track events, they are the ones most often mentioned at the second day’s driver’s meetings. They’re blind to the passing flag and never give point…
That last sentence is oh so very true. Heaven forbid you pass their precious vette and step on their ego. They will find you and they will yell and threaten to get you kicked out. I know a lot of good vette owners but it’s those special ones that I always manage to meet. Mainly because they’re too damn slow and can’t…
Yeah, before I even saw the video I was thinking line/tank damage and a belt that sparked was the ignition source. It shot flames 15 rows up, that’s not coming down through the exhaust pipe.
You’ll never know because all GR-Rs have been stolen or destroyed by now.
I actually think it’s closer to the choices of what most people doing track events do. If you’re running time attack then yes, you’re probably looking for the grip of a Hoosier. If just running DE’s then it’s likely you’re running a ultra performance tire to transit the car there and back. Not everyone has tow rigs or…
The #1 mod you can do to any car is upgrade the loose nut behind the wheel. HPDEs are expensive but it’s the one mod that will improve anything you drive.
You can get R’s that will work on the street. It’s not the best idea but they’re not a light switch. Running out for lunch or fuel won’t make the car spin off into a ditch after you leave the racing surface.
While you’re not totally wrong you do take it to the extreme. I understand that may be your point. It’s not like you’re going to spin off the road and die if you run out between sessions for lunch or fuel.
Iirc he works in the industry so it’s likely that he can’t reveal the source.
An STi wing does add downforce. I was at Pocono and a friend was having aero problems. He thought removing the wing would help. It helped put it in the wall in turn 3.
Easy to reach storage place won’t work. The second he thinks you’re going to rabbit he’s going to try and stop you and the situation will get much worse. As others have said, transponders in EVs.
My GF did just that and drove 9 hours to NC and back.
He has stretched tires. Not quite sure he knows what he’s doing.
