futuristic stuff designed by Apple, plot designed by committee and includes: dystopian future where most humans are gone and Earth is a burned-out husk; scrappy survivor humans live underground; idealistic hero seeks the truth; the truth is ugly ... it won't be originality that takes me to see this one just the cool

http://youtu.be/ Hollywood - out of ideas, doesn't know of any good books, and only has enough imagination to remake remakes ... Robot Chicken already showed where this is all going http://video.adultswim.com/robot-chicken/godzilla-returns.html

it looks terrible

hate it hate it hate it ... once again San Francisco, once again Star Fleet Academy (which never needed to be seen again), once again the Enterprise is not a robust vehicle but in a weakened state, once again the characters are vulnerable and battered about not in charge, once again Earth-centric not out in space

it's what they believe

how to make your voice sound like Sean Connery: pretend you have a large marble in your mouth, now talk

easy paycheck and he just gets to camp it up as a version of himself - he'll do them all until he can't move anymore

Well, the geometric shapes are pretty much covered: sphere (Death Star), cube (Borg), triangle/pyramid (Stargate, Star Wars), rectangular (2001, Babylon 5 and BSG), crescent (Centauri - B5), disc/saucer (many many), cylinder (Star Trek IV), polyhedron (Star Trek TOS) ... and ships made of light (original BSG, others)

Mudd must be chubby - mandatory

It is a pleasure to stand corrected on occasion - I did not know about her (and, come to think of it, January Jones could do it) ... thanks for the pic, confirms my suspicions (the really do need to bring back the blue phasers, atomizing transporters and all the cool sounds from TOS)

you left out LOST - anything, anything would have been better than that terrible "it's all a death fever-dream of Jack's" garbage ending ... and BSG also had the worst ending possible - stopping it anywhere before Ellen comes back would have been better than what we got ... also, correct on Supernatural

pretty lame to keep destroying what exists is an already re-made and re-booted universe for Abrams' version of Trek ... only if they go to the time-creature planet next movie and step through the doorway to finish the re-boot to TOS will it be worth it

Gary Mitchell the most likely ... too bad there isn't an actress today who has the beauty and the cool detachment of the young Sally Kellerman to play the female role (which they likely cut out)

it is a tacky commercialization, but this too shall pass

Lexx was not for everyone - a mix of horror/sci-fi/camp with a dark vision and a lot of ideas - it was sort Python-esque in its view of things ... but it had a complete story arc which ended up very satisfyingly in the finale and terrific villains and odd characters in every episode ... season III, for example is a

Lexx did this throughout their entire run - put the emphasis on clever writing and interesting characters and viewers will forgive

a jingoistic redneck 'Murica! remake of an 80s b-movie ... Hollywood truly is out of ideas

this is not science, this is not art, this is not some Dada-esque hipsterism ... it is pure tedium and stupid ... we are a truly bored society

when you know them

American Horror Story is positively lame this season compared to Season I ... way too overstuffed and I don't care about more than half of it ... and why do the sets look like a soundstage? Why is the lighting so bad? Why is the alien the cheapest-looking piece of foam ever? Who cares about the stupid creatures
