I have the opportunity to take the train to work (from a far suburb of Philly to a closer suburb), but the schedule doesn’t work for my work schedule (which is non-flexible). All it seems to consider is people going from the suburbs to the city, not from suburb to suburb

A few years ago a mattress flew off a truck on the highway in front of my dad. It smashed his windshield and then went over his car and wound up wrapped around the axle of the pickup behind him

You should also know that it’s going to be hot. The time of year doesn’t matter.

YES!

This black bowtie looks a millions times better than the gold

My ‘12 Liberty and ‘05 Wrangler have been pretty damn good so far. And if anything happens to my ‘06 G6, I will probably head over to the MOPAR store for a Dart

I was speaking in generalities, but if I traded my Jeep in (at least a conservative $10k in trade in (a buddy of mine just traded his in for $13k)) and then $166 per month for 5 years would get me in a decent Focus. And that doesn’t even put a price tag on the piece of mind a new car gives you (especially for long

Not including tires and general maintenance, I would say if it consistently cost me >$2,000 EVERY year in repairs I would start looking for a replacement. At that point, I am basically making car payments anyway without the piece of mind a new(er) car provides

Of course, but it isn’t inconsequential either. It’s not like it’s a 6,000 lb truck putzing around with the base V6

I wouldn’t call 300 hp slow

Any sports/muscle car from the mid to late 70’s, especially when they started going crazy with the stickers and body kits

That is the first thing that came to my mind too

I think the biggest hurdle is that in most of the country, you can only ride for like 4 months a year, so you have to have a car as well. And a lot of people can’t/won’t be bothered with keeping two vehicles running vs. one

If you are in a romantic relationship or suspect the friend you are with may have feelings for you, DO NOT FLIRT WITH OTHER PEOPLE. (DO NOT FLIRT WITH OTHER PEOPLE.)

I used to have that problem with my Mazda3. Keep kicking/wiggling it, it will come off eventually

I disagree. The bottle jack that came with my Jeep is fantastic. And since I have solid axles, I can jack the car up by the axle and don’t have to max out the suspension before the tire will lift off the ground. It takes maybe 30 seconds to jack up the car

We are doing the traditional gift route, and are upcoming on the third year (not for a few months though), and I still have no idea what to buy that is leather other than some kind of purse. Any tips?

Shouldn’t ‘72 still have minimal emissions equipment on it? I though things went downhill in ‘73

The rear seats don’t fold flat, but they slide back-and-fourth really far within the cabin to give the interior a lot of versatility
