What are you comparing it to, a Tahoe? The Xterra is plenty roomy on the inside, especially for the price
I don’t know about the first gen, but didn’t the second have a rotary knob to engage 4x4 instead of a lever?
Ever been under your hood changing spark plugs or filling oil without worrying about your hood falling down upon you? Unless you removed your hood, it’s probably because you have some sort of hood prop holding your hood up.

I still prefer to pay meters with coins if I have them
My wife’s previous car (2002ish Jetta) didn’t have a center armrest. It drove me nuts
I always start out by making people get the car moving WITHOUT using the gas, only clutch. Then they know the engagement point and can figure everything out much easier
That’s why I like SUV tires. I’ll take 31x10.5x15 please!
I don’t carry coins. If I paid for something in cash and got change, I would put it in my car. Now that I don’t have that option I just pile it up on my dresser at home
That’s what I do now, except I leave it in the glovebox
Built in coin-holders. My old Blazer had them and so does my wife’s Liberty, but my Pontiac and Wrangler don’t so I have to keep one of those cupholder ones in the glovebox so I am always prepared to feed the meter (except now they all take credit cards)
I have painted stock wheels before because new wheels are incredibly expensive
Well that’s a dumb rule
I feel like if you hit the brakes too hard this thing will face-plant
A guy around my area has one of these. I see him out in it pretty much every nice day of the year
My ‘05 Wrangler has rear drums and no ABS
What would have happened if he just put it in 4low and tried to get out himself?
Horsepower, as it turns out, isn’t a drug. It’s just a status symbol
Current minivans still have them, but they are on body panels or sliding doors, not normally opening doors. That is where the weird/different vibe comes in for me
