What exactly are you asking about that chapter? A cursory read of the chapter tells me it is about 1) Obeying the council of the leaders of the church. 2) Love your neighbor as yourself.

Yes, it is specific to LDS teachings. The Book of Moses in our Pearl of Great Price, teaches that there are other inhabited worlds.
I would have to do further research on the source of the specific statement you are asking about as I am at work and do not have all my resources available.
Mormons believe that too. Just as Christ visited his followers in the Americas after his resurrection, he has visited his followers on other planets.
I knew his family lived in Mexico for a while, but that is the extent of my knowledge.
"Honest, if possibly insulting, question. Don't you ever think to yourself, "We believe some crazy stuff""?"
We have always thought of ourselves as a "peculiar people" in that our beliefs, while holding many similarities to modern Christianity, are very unique among the various religions.
Personally, I find the amount…
As a Mormon, I really have nothing to say about him. I don't know him personally.
Now as a Libertarian, I have plenty to say about his policy positions, but they are pretty much what we say about most Republicans.
As a Mormon, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, it has been a part of our theology that there are sentient beings on other worlds in the Universe and that Christ's sacrifice is infinite and covers them all.
Why Christ came to this earth rather than some other planet is that according to…
Yes. I was going to say QR codes. They promised us so much and all they do is provide a url to a webpage at most.
I am currently reading White Night from the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher and From the Earth to the Moon; and, Round the Moon by Jules Verne.
Yep. I heard that and just giggled to myself. Out of the blue but so fitting.
He talks a fair amount at the beginning of the novel about how the Costa Rican doctors performed a miracle in the surgery room with him. It was kinda sorta glossed over but still given justification.
Earlier this week, I launched my Kickstarter for Demon's Hex. It is an online collectible token game with asynchronous multiplayer across multiple platforms.

Now that makes a whole lot more sense, well at least mathematically. Thanks.
Hang on. Why does it take the train, a freaking train, one year to circumnavigate the world? That is one freaking slow train. Even modern trains can go fast enough to travel around the world in days, if the tracks existed. Or does this train travel on a winding track that goes most everywhere in the world?
They showed most of this clip in the last trailer. But it is cool to see it all without the trailer music and cuts. That was a really clever ploy by the ape to get the weapons and take out the two idiots. I am so looking forward to this movie.
Those Ninja Turtles toys look absolutely terrible. Here are my quick thoughts:
Leo's head looks out of proportion to the rest of his body. He also looks extremely sad.
Don Looks okay, except that his legs, basically his whole lower half, looks about a size too small for his upper body. Also his packaging pose looks odd…
Nah. I would say twice. First for confusing the useless Jean for Frog and two for claiming Doctor Nein failed for voting him the most useless character.
Yes. Let us avoid any of the cast from the original series. I want fresh faces. I think have HRG on the series is a wise choice as he can bridge the gap and provide the layman's view to the otherwise out of the ordinary setting.
Yes. You have won the thread as far as I am concerned. Big ole stupid jerk that spoony bard is.
No. That is Jean from Breath of of Fire 2. A very useless character. So I guess you failed twice?
