I mean...I guess my question would be, “How egregiously oblivious do you have to be for it to override the ‘unintentionality’?” The ball boy shows zero *actual* awareness. The player rightfully has his eyes up, looking for the ball. The ball boy pretty inexcusably has his eyes on the ground. He should have seen that

I’m sorry, but did you *intend* to say that the first generation had an interesting design? I’m sure it’ll be interesting to people four hundred years from now, “What are these round black things touching the ground?” but...*interesting* today? It’s *every* bit as bland as its younger sibling, distinguished from it

I can’t promise that any of these companies will be free from that; but, I’d try maybe looking at some of them. I think all companies have a long way to go towards parity (and it is something that really needs to be pushed further up the pipeline, working with universities and high-schools to help foster women

“Borrowed” from the kitchens at Dragonstone, I imagine? :)

Seriously. Do I want a grill that is shaped like a giant, realistic human head, where I open it and stick food in the mouth? No. No I don’t. Dragon? sure, I’d buy a dragon-head grill. Human? Hard pass.

Pretty fascinating how that dummy dog was rotating around his front feet. I’d have expected them to continue forward as well, but they seemed to go stationary while the rest of his body rotated up and over them.

Wow. That was great and beautiful and got me right in the feels. Really, great, honest job laying out some of the frustrations and foibles of parenting. Thank you.

You might not recognize it as such, but they *do* have a religion, and they are deeply zealous about it: the cult of the Kims. Make no mistake, it is absolutely a religion, and you have to account for that in theorizing how this will play out.

Everyone knows you can’t be a feminist unless you dress like so. It is known.

I see complaints on NextDoor all the time in the Rice area. We’ve personally had a few packages snatched.

Yeah, and the RB totally sidesteps Suh as well, they all seem to be working to make sure he gets leveled.

Is the sad tuba for things even sadder than sad trombones?

He’s got to be pissed at his younger brother. Not only did bro do something terrible, but now his very unique name is forever associated online with that terrible thing.

Seriously. If there ever were a program which was clearly failing to own its serious failings, it would be this one. The board has tried (too little, too late...but it’s *something*), but the program, and far too many fans, refuse to admit past mistakes, leaving little hope they’ll work in good faith to prevent the

I’m sure your 10th grade history teacher will forgive you though.

Meh, I’d sooner trust someone who says that who hasn’t seen the person in 8 years. Being with someone most every day makes it easy to not notice the differences as they gradually happen. I don’t think Obama looks to have aged significantly or badly, but he does look like he’s aged *some*.

I think it was sort of a vanity/depression thing. In their youth, they’d been quite the socialite, attractive, well-known. And they didn’t handle aging well, became reclusive, alcoholic. So, I think there was some measure of, “Either people will remember me as I was, or not at all.” Or, also, perhaps, giving the world

That’s not how that works, especially for someone who is deceased. Here’s a short article talking about what you get, and don’t, when you purchase life story rights.

Because her mom has every legal right to write about her life, including her daughter. What legal basis would there be for *preventing* a mother from writing about her deceased daughter?

Not admirable on the mom’s part...but I’ll be honest: I think it’s kind of b.s. that we expend so much effort, cause so much strife out of concern for the wishes of the dead-and-gone. What is important, after you’re dead, after I’m dead, is not you or me--it’s everyone else who didn’t die. If we can tastefully respect
