I feel you. I have the same questions about my dedication to staying in Texas.

You have to send HamNo a video demonstrating how perfect your form is when doing squats.

Chris Owings, though, looks like he went running straight to him, play be damned.

You sound like lots of fun at parties. Also, I'm thinking the whole premise of all these comment threads here about "greatest pick-up moves" is probably going to not be Your Thing. Spoiler: people elide boring details when story-telling.

Truly the worst. And I'm pretty shocked that so many people are happy to join airline shill Paul Thompson in the rush to judgement. I know of enough bad behaviour from the airlines, *especially* United, that I absolutely have to reserve judgement. There's no way I'd assume the passenger is in the wrong.

Well, another option is it could have come loose of some load...but then been sent flying after getting hit by some other vehicle (having seen debris go flying that way). Maybe.

There's an SVU episode I think is pretty apt, of a discovery that a concert pianist had been molesting his students for years. One of his early students had gone on to a successful career of his own, and they initially viewed him just as a vicitim...until they then also uncovered evidence that as he'd gotten older,

That's a thing that exists???

They aren't always. I attended one in Jordan (and stood outside the church for another) which seemed of fairly "normal" length. Maybe 20-30 min at the alter? I think there's a couple of different liturgy's they can choose from, if I'm not mistaken (but I'm not Catholic, so I may be...)

By the end of it, I was waving my hands and fingers at the screen, hoping the tingles would go away

I assure you, there are WAY WORSE things kids can obsess about other than Frozen. On the scale of Things Kids Are Likely To Obsess Over, Frozen is so much better than so much of the tripe. ... Which, come to think of it, is why you should *really* be scared!

And fwiw, I don't think that *at all* justifies banning the book...but at least it gives some context.

So, I bet I know where some of the controversy stemmed from: a couple years back, one of the stars on the baseball team was accused by a younger student of rape. Eventually, a grand jury declined to indict. It was...a very messy incident, and I'd imagine there are still a lot of raw nerves as a result. It was

There's no double jeopardy about it. That's crazy. The courts can't tell my employer, "Don't employ him." But if I get convicted of a crime, that's most certainly what my employer will choose to do. It's not double jeopardy, it's my employer deciding what sort of employees it wants to have around.

A friend in college lost her keys. The keys had a wallet attached. Her car was subsequently stolen from the university where it was parked. A few months later, the police contacted her to say they had found her car...burned, with a body inside. These things happen.

Hm...let's see. We adopted our dogs from a no-kill shelter when they were six months old, litter-mates. The place we got them had lots of big, loud dogs...no small dogs, except these two. I'm not sure if it was the trauma of the constant, loud barking or something else in their past but they were beyond terrified.

You think? I mean, that's possible...but it's a big wide world with lots of different people. It seems kind of...wrong to say "I don't believe a woman could say that." Pretty much, you can find a person who is an example of any point of view you can imagine. They may not be very typical of whatever group you think

Just...no. Batman should be more subtle than that. He doesn't run onto the scene with his batarangs on a bandolier, but produces them from hidden niches on his belt and elsewhere on his person. The batmobile should be similarly cunning...sure, powerful, loaded with tech, but NOT A BIG GUN TURRET FRONT AND CENTER.
