i think ford would have had more luck had he paired with nikola tesla.
@Rob Yeahok: qualifiers being 'natural' and 'microeconomics 101'. there would be no r&d without monopolies. an artificial monopoly is nearly always counterproductive, however.
i'm sorry, but until it handles this, my faith in technology shall remain unrestored.
@GitEmSteveDave'sPhiltrum: it's the not seeing it outside your window that will really get you.
@CarbonatedFalcon: i think maybe it's in order to match the number of syllables. or something. i'm making stuff up at this point :P
sweet, thanks! now all i have to do is wait for a raise this year in order to afford data on my plan.
microeconomics 101:
@Wireless Joe: it's a play of words on 'necessity is the mother of invention'
@FriedPeeps: damn, knew i shouldn't have bought that refurb unit ...
@wasting_company_time: you and your silly reasoning
@FriedPeeps: no, more in reference to the desktop OS. i see where you're coming from, but this still smells of anticompetitive practices. i don't think it's ever been discussed in the realm of mobile devices though. it will be interesting to see how it turns out.
and compete with these people? are you kidding me?
@xsbs: not a swiss company, just based out of switzerland. it originated in birmingham, alabama. it's just like any mnc though - it goes where taxes are low and regulations are absent.
@RicketyCricket: aha! trump!
@cec: nope, i'm with you on that one.
@reuthermonkey: americans are such prudes. i'm ashamed of my nation :\
@RicketyCricket: ack no! it reminds me of harry potter, the first time i'd ever seen the word.
@Ian Logsdon: it's not the monopoly that's in question, it's the anticompetitive practices.
