PS: You can connect any remotely recent PC to any remotely recent TV, and you can use a controller for almost any game out right now. It’s like owning a console, that you can upgrade piecemeal, and use for more than just gaming (media center box?).

For myself, I built myself a PC 9 years ago (only $900) that I used for games, even the newest releases, up until Black Friday this year. I also concurrently owned a PS3 and an Xbox360. After gaming heavily on all 3 for years, I grew up (*sob*) and had kids, and this time around, didn’t buy any of the consoles.…
For building a PC, there are tons of guides to walk you through every aspect, and PCPartPicker is an invaluable asset to check for parts compatibility. There are also curated “builds” that list every element you need to buy to make a PC, as well as the prices. It’s as simple as browsing http://pcpartpicker.com/guide/…
Because the default UI color for the normal selection items is green. They need SOME way to denote that it’s a skill check.

Just built a PC with 16GB DDR4 RAM, i5-6600k (3.5GHz stock, can OC to ~4.6) and an R9 390 with 8GB of RAM. Since I’m assuming Elite Dangerous will be some of the more exacting spec requirements out there for VR, I’m probably set for at least the first gen of AAA VR games.
Just as an FYI, these sometimes show up on Groupon, and they had them for 2 for $23. If you do Groupon points, you can get $10 off $20, bringing down the cost for 2 of these mugs to $13 total.

Head’s up on the Aukey dual port car charger. I bought one and it didn’t work in my car. I measured the distances involved, and the ports on my car are too long, and the leads on the charger don’t actually contact the metal leads inside the port.

many white students simply believe that competing with Asians — both Asian Canadians and international students — requires a sacrifice of time and freedom they’re not willing to make.
It was tongue in cheek since the guy I responded to called out “the West”.
It was tongue-in-cheek, since the guy I was responding to specifically called out “the West”.
If you’d taken like literally 3 seconds to google it, you’d find that there were such statements from the governments of many Middle Eastern countries, as well as independant statements from clerics.
Imagine how it looks to someone from a country that had a similar event a month ago and had no one showing solidarity for them. It serves nothing but to serve as a reminder that the west doesn’t consider them real people worthy of even a moment of remembrance. Also, way to gloss over what is essentially…
It’s likely because Trump is now a liability to the GOP, and Megyn is doing her part to help tear him down so some other GOP nutcase can be the frontrunner for a bit.
ADATA doesn’t sell bootleg drives on their own site, so I’m going to assume he bought from ebay or some other “marketplace” type seller and bought a fake drive.

Yeah, just because the guy who bought stolen goods paid money for them doesn’t mean he’s now the legal owner. It means he’s out whatever he paid, the goods get reposessed by the police, and original owner gets them back without having to pay for them.
Medium-high on an 8 year old PC is about equivalent to the best a current console can do, and far better than what an Xbox360 can do.
I get your point, but that sort of hyperbole doesn’t benefit anyone, and if you think it costs a couple thousand dollars every couple years to have a capable gaming rig, maybe it’s time you did some more research again. That hasn’t been true for...ever.
I’m not going to argue with you there. I absolutely feel that the ability to pick up empty shell casings is not more important than a good gameplay experience (i.e. I feel the same as you), but I also recognize that the ability to do so is part of the charm of the Fallout games. If they had to trim down the objects…
