You probably do, but I don’t have any issues with my 1080 for 4K gaming. I can’t think of anything I play that doesn’t hit 50+ FPS with everything cranked up. Honestly, good enough for me.

I don’t think so. I’ve been gaming my whole life, and PC gaming for about 15 years. I game on a 43" 4K IPS panel, it looks absolutely stunning and while I get that higher refresh rates are better for competitive play, I don’t play competitively.

1080p and 1440p don’t look as clear on a 4k monitor as they do on a monitor that natively supports them.

I’m pretty confused about why you were experiencing performance issues, though! From what I know an i7-4770k @ 4.2GHz should breeze through most anything, especially with a GTX 1080. I’ve got my 1080 paired with a 3770k @ 4.2GHz and as far as I know, I don’t have any performance issues. Maybe I should run some

I loved this piece, some eye opening stuff. It’s my dream to open my own development studio some day and hire as many talented POC artists as I can afford

I’m a younger guy (24) and I lived with my older brother (27). We have always looked very similar, so my guess is that women who find me attractive would likely find him attractive. We have both used online dating extensively, but I always have more luck at it than him. Just want to throw this in there for you, a lot

I suggest starting by studying up on art history, specifically sculpture. figure out where your tastes lie, and then have your hand at building something out of clay/wood/whatever! imo, the point of making a piece of art is to make the very thing you want to look at. the exact thing! every painting i’ve ever made,

i built my PC around a silverstone sg13. it’s one of the smallest ITX cases you can buy that fits a full GPU, and it’s just a plain black box. i can’t stand flashy stuff either. also if you hit up a garage sale/craigslist you can probably find a case from the 90s/early 2000s in that old school beige style, always

FINALLY. I have wanted to play this forever, and even when it was on Steam sale for $20 I wasn’t buying it when I looked down and saw I had to spend $40 more on all the DLC.

I’m in the same boat (paid $200 about 6 weeks ago), and I’m not at all worried about it. What games are coming out that are going to chew my 970 up at 1080p? I have no interest in higher resolutions, my 970 is playing Doom on Ultra between 70-100 FPS. This new generation of Pascal GPUs are at least 2 leagues ahead of

The $250 price point makes sense given the price of the 1070/1080 and the rest of the market, but I wouldn’t call that entry level. I’ve been building computers since I was 11 years old, and I’ve never spent more than $300 on a GPU (GeForce 7950 GT and GTX 970). I’m really more interested to see what the GTX 1050 is

Cecilia, you missed the most famous example we have of VR in Modern Art...

This is definitely one of those games that makes me want to pick up a PS4. I love building PCs so I play all of my games that way, not sure that this and Bloodborne are worth the investment though!

I thought the second and third were as good as the first, though.

I want to be into this game, but as soon as I saw the character walk into the elevator and go, “Thousands of hours were put into making this elevator work for me, blah blah etc,” the writer in me is thinking, wow they pushed the sentimentality too hard at the cost of good writing. I can’t imagine following a character
