It got WAY worse right at the start of Covid too. I had a decent collection (600-700) games and sold probably about half of it 10 years ago (almost entirely PS2, Xbox, Gamecube). Just got out of the hobby, nothing earth shatteringly expensive but it fueled a couple grand in car upgrades.

Duse, I'm from Salinas, it's actually pretty great...it has a thriving art scene, a great local restaurant scene, and a lot cultural heritage and significance...people just shit on it because East Salinas is gang rampant, and because it's a fieldwork town. It has problems, but all towns do.
