Your personal experience with the UAW is not enough data to declare “unions don’t work.” In the US, unions are responsible for some of the most rapid gains in worker benefits and improved quality of life in US history.

Good on the employees. Now if only software and game devs would also just unionize so we can organize some slightly more effective industry wide actions.

He was able to retire at 42 on the backs of those below him. As another commenter pointed out, he likely justified the millions he made at Blizzard because of his amazing leadership. These same leaders that simultaneously and mysteriously have “the privileges of not noticing what is happening” in their company.

If Sylvannus was NAMED for a serial killer, the idea of renaming the character would be a good analogy. The answer would remain a resounding “uh yeah rename the character dear lord” but at least your bad argument would be coherent.

You missed the part where she had apparently been a victim of intense sexual harassment at work and images of her naked was apparently shared around in the office.  What they did to her before she killed herself reads like a nightmare.
