The idea that there is no bad opinion is stupid at best and dangerous at worst. There are so many bad opinions out there, and the past year has had plenty of evidence of this.

Check for an “overscan” setting on your TV.  Some also might call it something like JustScan or SmartFit or something like that.

I loved her therapist character on Two and a Half Men (yes, really) and am still bummed they didn’t spin her off into her own show.

It’s probably that she was largely unknown to the younger generation/demographic that Glee targeted, but yeah Jane Lynch has been a comedy icon for ages.

Yeah, the lack of cultural knowledge and/or research here is stunning. Aside from Lynch, who was already pretty recognizable to anyone out of middle school (the Christopher Guest films, Party Down, The L Word, Two & A Half Men), Morrison and Michele were both established stage talents when they were cast.

She was very known! That threw me too. I know this is just a throwaway post, but slagging the pre-Glee careers of Jane Lynch and Matthew Morrison when that information is just a google away is some pretty lazy ish.

Her career is certainly much larger post-Glee, but she’d done a metric tonne of work before that I have to assume she was at least a “oh, hey, it’s that lady” for most people by the mid-2000s.
