Yes, and they can sell out really quickly. My local BB had them (the Turquoise) in stock for less than 24 hours 3 weeks ago. I was lucky to be able to snag one.  So, if you want to buy a specific color at MSRP, these notices are useful.

Are they in stock? The point is it’s extremely hard to get a Switch Lite at MSRP. Gray is in stock at Best Buy. None of the other colors are. If you want something other than Gray, you have to buy through a marketplace where they are marked up.

The point is that they gray are in stock (the others are not). If you want a different color, you’d have to buy through a marketplace where they are going for $250+

Anyone giving money to a streamer is doing it because of an imagined, parasocial relationship.

It seems completely disingenuous to suggest that going to Harvard or Yale ISN’T all about networking as well, getting in good with the old boys club. All high-tier private universities have this as a selling point.

USC’s big draw is the networking. And you certainly buy your way in there. I grew up in the general area, and the kids who went to UCS were rich and had parents who were part of the Alumni Association. It’s a 4 year club.

At age 15,[10] Kuzma became pregnant by her high school boyfriend. Afraid of her mother’s reaction, she went to Hayes for help. He arranged for her to have an abortion without her mother’s knowledge.[11][12] Looking for a job to get some money, she was introduced to his friend and started working for her as a

Huh, thanks for that (I’m not the person you are replying to, just a passer by). Only it looks to me like lede isn’t so much journalism slang - it’s defined in the MW dictionary. Like much slang, when it’s used enough, it gets absorbed into the language.

Then again, the “Plus” naming thing already makes sense to consumers

Agreed, and I have to admit the White Stripes cover is really what put it on my radar. I’m sure I had heard (and enjoyed) the song before that, but that cover is what initially got the song (including the original) in my rotation.

Just here to say I’m a fan of your avatar.

Same here - I am probably as far from her target demo as you can get - I’m an atheist from California who really doesn’t like country music*. But damn does she seem like a wonderful, thoughtful woman.

I assume my cat likes my gaming chair because I spend so much time in it, I am the leader of our clowder, and he thinks he’s #2 (there’s a bit of a power battle between him and my SO). So when I get out my chair (throne) he fills in as #2.

I wouldn’t call that necessarily a problem with the study, since the study was a demonstration of the method. It’s more a problem with how the media has covered the study. The authors do discuss the fleece, and they imply that it is the material, not the gaiter form:

The authors actually have a theory as to why the “neck fleece” had a higher count than the control:

I’m surprised I was unaware that this show existed. Sounds like it’s right up my alley. Now I just wonder if it’s worth watching if there’s only one season.  Someone who’s watched it - does season 1 stand on it’s own?  Like, will I be left feeling unsatisfied by it ending after S1?
