I don’t think inbox wasn’t really intended* to replace Gmail, especially because a lot of people rely on Gmail to be boring and unchanging as it’s a daily driver for business (and heavily used in education).

Finally calendar integration! Been waiting for that for some time, pretty crazy such a basic function took so long (yes, there was a Labs calendar, but it sucked).
