My 15 year old son and I love stuff like this. We will watch and guffaw and perhaps even pause the film to catch the Easter eggs (thank you for the non-spoiler review)—but probably will walk away with no real feelies (as I wholly expect), just like Space Jam 2— pandering jokes for the grownups and moral family lesson

Lordy, this was such a half-assed episode. Sarah may have flubbed, but she brought ENERGY, the only bright spot for me in the entire evening.

I love these types of very peronalized sketches that hint about the show’s inner politics that seem to fly over Lorne Michaels' head.

Recycling sketches seems kind of a easy out, but this and the even more-blatantly-rebooted Mother’s Day Signs at least succeeded.

That’s like saying Thor: Ragnorak had too many Taiki Waititi flourishes.

Moon Knight is a bit clunky, it took 5 episodes out of 6 to make any sort of sense, but Oscar Issac is the best actor I can recall in ANY MCU Disney+ franchise I have seen.

Talk about exposition though: No Way Home did stop approxinately every 10 minutes to have a Spiderman say, “i did THIS thing in MY movie”.

Good luck with that. :)

And people think *I* have annoying proofreader skills.

How about just part of the time?

When Steve and Layla entered the tomb and were gushing over how fantastic it looked, I was really hoping to see what was so fantastic. Didn’t happen, really.

I think you hit the nail on the head aa to why i am so confused with this.

At the expense of not telling a unique, compelling or comprehensble story, which this show maddeningly keeps hopscotching around.

Well i am glad you explained this because i had no frickin’ clue what the hell was going on—and I have seen my share of twisty, “reality called into question” TV shows. This one for me was half dull, half WTF.

Let's hand it over for Kate for trading off corn from a goat's lips.

She should stick to music. That is where she shines.

Huh?

I conflated the query by the reviewer with the inattentive portion of the fanbase who were in a tizzy wondering why Nicky was not invited to his father’s funeral. Mea culpa.

The moment I saw that crypt I thought,Spy Kids 2".

Not only should we ask how Layla finds MarcSteve, but also the nameless minion who informs Harrow that he was in the area? Is there a service counter in Egypt for this purpose?
