Ah, so it's I that read it wrong. Now I'm lead to believe that was intentional hyperbole for effect. Or they're really leaning into the first world problem thing.

I can tolerate ads until the ad freezes and an otherwise watchable video is stuck because the ad can't get its shit together.

I don't know; I stay out of the comments.

That's a lot to do with it, for sure. I see no reason YouTubers shouldn't be taken as seriously as a whole. On an individual basis, certainly.

You cut off the "when watching videos on YouTube." That qualifier makes it reasonable; it's still an awkward turn of phrase.

At least you weren't like Chad Shank, dropping him in a trade round.

Having clothes on probably negated some of the full sensory deprivation, but I figure she just had to get close enough. She was making tenuous contact while not having any sensory deprivation.

Stern joked with Doug Stanhope about starting a Wack Pack death pool, they lose people all the time.

Other than Bass, who was really more of a Howard Stern Wack Packer, these were three of the rare wrestlers who were all well liked and respected, with rarely a bad word to say about any of them, and all of whom lived full lives. Enormous bucket of win to all of them, they will all be missed.

Nah, Steele and Ivan lived long (and in both cases worked longer for Vince Sr.) and Chavo hardly ever worked there at all, only briefly in 04. Bass only had brief involvement in wrestling ever.

It's just coincidence, Bass will be forgotten by wrestling quickly while Ivan, Chavo, and Steele never will. Bass is more notable as a Wack Packer, her wrestling involvement was short and I don't think she actually wrestled a match ever.

If you're gonna spew, spew in this.

I was gonna comment the same, if this is set in the present he has it backwards.

"Make a face like you're so mad, you're about to cry. Ok now just do that for the next decade."

There's flashes of it with Fincher, in between all the stagey plot driven shit. Something about that rowing scene in The Social Network looked otherworldly, even though it was just some college kids in canoes.

I can't help it, I'm a sucker for "cool bohemians doing vaguely sad things" type movies. That shit turns my crank like wizards and dragons do for the regular nerds. I'll be all over this.

With the rise of smart phones, people in third world areas are gaining access to the internet at an enormous rate, and having a reliable source of information can be hugely beneficial. So yeah, actually, mountain kids in loincloths probably do need Wikipedia.

Wikipedia has been found to be as accurate as Encyclopedia Brittanica.

There seems to be a connection between Miiverse's aesthetic and high functioning autism. I wonder if I'm far off with that.

As close as i live to the border, Should I Stay Or Should I Go keeps echoing in my head lately.
