Just starting it now, already enthralled.

Anyone who thinks comics can't be art or, depending, literature, is someone I wouldn't trust as far as I could bounce them off a pile of dogshit.

Here is as good a place as any for me to again stump for an animated Love and Rockets series on El Rey. They'd be the people to do it and it'd be cooler than shit.

Cracked had a thing supposing that BBT is a show that appeals to older people because it reminds them of their kids, albeit in an easier to understand more digestible package. If we all just called our moms more the ratings would plummet.

I can't get into a woman in mall goth getup that's pushing 50. Most goths in their winter shift over to the evil witch or rockabilly queen look and ditch the pigtails.

I don't have enough time to watch shows I actually like, I couldn't fathom forcing a show on myself like that. I like plenty of terrible tv but none of it is bingeworthy.

I used to have a Dinosaur Jr. shirt with a cow on it in school. So many people walked up like "I don't get it."

Daniel Bruhl fits that description and is a better ringer for Armstrong. I don't know if a German should be playing one of our national heroes though.

Is Gosling such a weird choice to play Neil Young? He doesn't look much like him but he's Canadian and can do that quiet morose intensity thing well. I don't think Gosling would make for a bad Neil at all.

I say air both. Know the face of thine enemy.

Isaac Hayes, Juliette & The Licks.

I'm shocked that Orlando's tireless ska-punk scene was secretly a Scientology front.

Ron Perlman looks like Tom Waits if he'd had Mickey Rourke's boxing career.

Mind Your Manners! No yelling.

With a little OAR on the end. Then it's strictly Dave the whole way back.

Jeff Ament ain't in it for the glory.

No one believes that.

He's a surfer, you'd think he could swim more.

It started with Tarantino's script in From Dusk Til Dawn but they said in the (laserdisc! ) commentary that it's meant to be the El Rey from The Getaway.

Yeah that's the gist of it, it's only alluded to in the book.
