Infowars was spawned out of the Austin alt scene so…

If you do know the scene, The Hard Times is fucking surgical.

Farting on Dicks at the Club Is The New Feminism

The first is an actual event happening and is thus newsworthy. The second is equally as bad. That's just not how news works, I don't understand how people don't see it. It's just especially insidious with all these late night hosts. I don't want to see John Oliver's lame material, I'm not interested in seeing Jimmy

Jonah Hill would pull it off.

Playing Fatty Arbuckle might be another Asuk type curse because Philip Seymour Hoffman was in talks to play him in an adaptation of Jerry Stahl's I, Fatty.

Doug Stanhope has said publicly he's caught them using his bits at least twice.

Way to be obtuse. The point is, this comes up on AV Club's social feeds, because it's filed under news, when it isn't news. If they review Oliver's show, I can read or not as seen fit. But saying a clip from his show is news? It's just cheap marketing stunting and shouldn't be encouraged.

I'm really sick of viral tv bits being reported as news. It's a sneaky trick to give attention to talk show hosts through means that penetrate our news feeds and such. If I cared about John Oliver's jokes (a lot of which his writers have stolen) I'd actually watch his show. This is clearly just a marketing ploy and I

Traps, brother.

It's just a side effect of the power of Destrucity.

His first gimmick was Sterling Golden.

Learning the Ropes!

Is that screenshot from the scene in the book where Swede makes out with his daughter and then spends the rest of the book wringing his hands wondering how his little girl went so far astray? And then briefly wonders if it may have been that kiss that did it before moving on? Ya think, you fucking pederast?

The whole thing about the Birmingham governor was showing love for a segregationist, too.

The better one on Supergirl is.

Actually didn't McGregor film a pilot for a miniseries adaptation of The Corrections at one point, playing Skip?

I remember being an edgelord teenager and thinking Meaney was just a cheesy clean comic. Then I watched one of his sets and realized he's actually brilliant and his delivery was sharp as a samurai sword. Very sad to hear of his passing but glad to hear he was as nice as he seemed.

Yes to her sucking, no to your egregious Penny Lane hate. That was her only good role.

The editing on this show is really great at catching little moments like that and giving them the right amount of air. I never usually notice quality editing on a show but the editing really elevates the acting.
