interesting that you find a feature that is only available as a proof of concept in a test vehicle more impressive than what my car can do tonight.

Hear that sound? That’s the sound of about 100 former Apple & Tesla employees whispering “WTF was I thinking” under their breath.
Given VW doesn’t have two cents to spend right now, this will never happen. It is more likely to happen than the faraday fantasy car, however. So there’s that.
Move over Segway, you’re no longer the most overhyped product in history.
I own a Tesla Model S and I would agree, some owners are self-righteous insufferable jerks— about half because they’re finger-wagging environmentalists, and half are overzealous Musk worshipers. Most, however, are genuine regular car enthusiasts. They are wonderful cars.
Wait a minute. Land Rover finally offers a diesel, and Jalopnic, lover of all things brown and diesel, recommends the gasser? What just happened.
As a Tesla owner I think it looks really good. The model 3 can’t get here soon enough, will be interesting to see what it looks like compared to this when it’s revealed in March.
I think if you actually drove it, or even sat in it, you’d be cured forever of wanting one.
I really love these cross-posts from foxtrotalpha to jalopnik. Because I want all my gun news in my car forum.

Luxury cars aren’t priced by the square inch. Based on that logic a 911 makes no sense because it’s smaller than a GTI.
I’m not a marketing person, but a campaign focusing on “making it right” or something like that would appeal to me. It references both an acknowledgement of their problems and a commitment to quality.
Just about every suggestion you made would be a sales failure despite being fun.
Lamborghini is German-owned.
That amount probably exceeds the total amount of charity ever given from all middle east countries combined.
You could never cool this thing in a street car. It’s a non-starter in the real world for that reason. Uncoolable. It would require a radiator the size of a pool table with 4 fans on it for red lights.
just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean it’s not a sport. I hate baseball, and yet it’s still a sport.
There’s a reason Musk calls them fools cells. Generating hydrogen to generate electricity to power the car is far less efficient than using electricity directly.
