This is just silly, because it claims materials can't be high-end if they impede function. Which, if you know anything about anything, simply isn't true.

LG Prada, December 2006, shut up.

I think it just makes a car pop more. Maybe someone looked at the bright colors offered on Sparks and Fiestas and went "shit, my car won't be so obnoxiously different," so they sprayed the wheels another color.

Yeah, I'm from Birmingham AL and I've never heard that either. I'm from the suburbs, though, so maybe that plays a role.

I wonder if this is GM trying to offer a cheaper alternative to the Tahoe. The thing went up in price for 2015, and was already a bit more expensive than the Ford Explorer, which is growing in popularity.

I'd be highly surprised if OnStar-equipped cars didn't have a way for OnStar to view camera feeds. In fact, I'd put money down that within the first three years we'd hear about saving recordings from these cameras, probably by OnStar on behalf of insurance companies.

4.) Subaru and Monster Energy

The impression I got when I read this on reddit or whereever was he thought he could sell the doors seperately, and scraping a doorless car + selling the doors would bring in more money than just scraping a complete car.

Minivans are the greatest.
