I’m not sure where else to put this and I’m not going to wander around the site to find out.  But I wanted to make it known that after what happened with Deadspin I won’t be visiting any sites known to be under G/O ownership until editorial integrity is brought back.  I’m disappointed because I liked the Gizmodo…

The chi guns were the dumbest part.  The whole reason for Iron Fist being the Iron Fist was that his martial arts skills and the powers that come with the chi make it so that guns are not needed.  I mean, I would have watched, but still.

Grant Ward is by far the absolute worst MCU character hands down.  Poorly written, trite motivations, bland acting, keeps coming back, deus ex machina, I could go on.  I honestly do not understand how he appeals to anyone.

I wish you had, but you haven’t done nothing.

Can someone help me out here? I have watched AoS for other characters but have never once cared for Grant Ward or anything he ever did. Even turning him into a super alien thingy has just been the blandest villain archetype I could imagine. Can anyone articulate why he is cool or compelling?
