Yeah the Governor was more powerful than Merle, but his power was more due to his status in the community and the men willing to obey his orders rather than by physical strength. They were both equally mean. But on a one-on-one altercation like that, the realistic winner should've been Merle hands down.

[AUDIENCE GOES NUTS]
Kelly Bundy made an entire generation of boys hit early puberty.
The overzealous audience was one of the few things I hated about that show. A whip should've been put there to stop them from going overboard each time one of the characters does anything that could be construed as remotely close to cool or sexy. And by whip I literally mean a man with a uniform and a whip who'd crack…
I fantasize about strangling Marcy until I see fifty shades of blue every time she opens her mouth. Hands down most annoying character.
Hahahaha 5:30. Al and fat customers… But this unaired pilot is pretty much the same as the one that got finally aired because I remember some of those quotes very vividly; only difference here are the actors that played the kids.
Yeah it got boring at moments, and the overwrought, attemptedly poetic narration seemed forced most of the time.
