He used up all his originality coming up with a novel ex-Disney child star meltdown involving plagiarism. It's brilliant!

Carol is so awesome that her awesomeness rubbed off on those two girls and let them kick ass this episode. I was totally expecting them to meet tragic ends when they decided to help, but instead they killed a couple of attackers and apparently orchestrated whatever's getting the damned baby off the show for a while.

With Josie out of the running, I'm going to quietly go back to hoping for a Sally Langston/Mellie Grant ticket. Sally would almost be the worst President possible, but the alternative is Fitz, the worst human possible, and Mellie would conspire to overthrow Sally within about two weeks.

I didn't dislike the episode, but it did feel out of place with the tone of the rest of the season. I went through an arc during the episode—disappointed with the way they set up Kenny's obvious final redemption, then enjoying seeing Kenny's future play outand hoping the show was going to leave that as the true

This sounds like it's not completely terrible. Given that, and that Michael J Fox is Michael J Fox, I think we've got next year's Best Actor in a Comedy  about sewn up, yes? I mean, the program being terrible probably wouldn't have been a dealbreaker (see: Jeff Daniels), but it being watchable has to help.

Lumberjack Dexter: More or less believable than RoboDoakes?

Honestly I give the writers credit for making that fake set of spoilers where Quinn turns out to have been on to Dexter the whole time, and takes over the killer mantle, look quality.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Don't approach him directly under any circumstances. Try to find a coworker he has romantic tension with, and get her to approach him about discussing it with you. Realistically, you need to involve as many people in this as possible.

That whole episode felt like watching somebody do a victory lap after losing a race. The five seconds of acknowledging they fucked up got handily swept under the rug because a.) Dantana fucked up more, and b.) all the shitty other news shows would have fucked it up too. No consequences for anyone! Even the guy who

I think the thing that ultimately surprised me the most about LatP is that they stick to Crichton having a kid he will never actually meet. I expected things to end with Katralla deciding to break tradition and either skip stasis or go in for a shorter time, or the revelation that a half-human fetus couldn't survive

Sleeping in the Light is A+ to me , but Long Twilight Struggle will always hold a special place for just making me so sad. When I initially watched Midnight on the Firing Line, I found it kind of stagey and boring with cartoonish villains and a predictable resolution. After seeing this episode, MotFL became one of my

The Divided Loyalties fakeout with Ivanova is one of those things that probably worked much better watching the show live (or, as I did, using that program that marked WAM! Episodes and let you click on an episode to see all JMS Newsgroup posts pertaining to it) than it does just watching the show now. In addition to

I wanted to get up and do a small celebratory dance during Cyrus's "this is not a romance novel!" speech. I love that this show isn't afraid to acknowledge that it's characters are flawed people often doing bad things for selfish reasons, so seeing them called out is always fun.
