This is what makes me so mad. I personally know two people who got into USC on merit. Well. One completely on merit and one on merit/sports. But, even though she was a future Olympian, even the merit/sports one worked incredibly hard to get into an elite school. It pisses me off that their credentials may be side-eyed

To be fair there are a lot of kids at elite schools that worked hard and that are the first in their family to attend college, POC, or from working class backgrounds.

I could’ve done without the 80 million times Chris Harrison speculated on the state of Colton’s virginity. It was just WEIRD. Thank GOD I wasn’t playing a drinking game because I would’ve died.

I think the “chase for Cassie” wasn’t nearly as creepy as Chris Harrison constantly asking Colton if he’d lost his virginity yet. Like, 10 times this episode alone? Is losing your virginity really a public event? I guess when you base your fame on the fact that you’re a virgin, it is. But it just felt super icky to

I don’t understand why these kids didn’t just go to Bennington. These poor-little-rich-kid cases are pretty much why it exists!

Literally just status. It’s sad.

If Flour was a Person.” Aaaaaaaand, I’m done. Finished.

Now If Flour Was A Person is making their move, If Flour Was A Person is coming to the inside followed by No One Wants to Sleep with You and Another Privileged White Boy. It’s still If Flour was a Person, If

Make sure he knows the divorce is harder on you than it is on him, and you expect him to comfort you through it.

So tonight we’re rooting for a crying, entitled man-baby to browbeat a woman who’s expressed clear disinterest in him into half-heartedly entering a doomed relationship with him under duress so she won’t be framed as the asshole who broke the Bachelor’s heart on national TV?

Kirpa: Cassie’s not ready.

The text of that tweet squicks me out. “The chase for Cassie is on.” Gross. She’s a person, not one of those mechanical rabbits that greyhounds chase around a track. I’m so over the narrative that if men simply push harder and don’t take no for an answer they’ll get the girl, like women are prizes to be won in the

At the end of this whole thing, Cassie will grudgingly get together with Colton, likely with some financial inducement by ABC so she gives the show its “fairy tale” ending.

There was reward money involved, which Serial never touched. And once investigators got their mitts on Jay, they led him during interviews to say what they needed to fit evidence. This is very clearly spelled in Undisclosed. When they got new evidence, or conflicting evidence, they’d pull him back in and his story

I don’t remember that, but I definitely remember Jay’s (future) domestic violence record being used to cast suspicion on him regarding Hae’s murder. Which, much like the drug selling, I just do not see as in any way related to this case. The fact that he’s capable of domestic violence doesn’t suddenly give him a

And how part of the reason she thought Adnan was innocent was because he was so cute. Stop talking about his eyes, ma’am.

So crime stoppers pay people for tips. Also, think about who had access to Jay and knew details about the murder? There’s evidence in the case file that suggests Jay met with the police before the police say they first interviewed Jay. Also, the police had an incorrect cell phone tower map, and Jay’s story about where

And Jay knew where Hae’s car was.  So, to me, there’s only three possibilities: Adnan killed Hae, Jay killed Hae, or someone else who Jay knows killed Hae (and clued him in on where the car was).

Don’t be fooled by them...

Yes, since she didn’t present much of a supporting case for why he was an unreliable witness but...others have and, suffice to say, there are many more issues with Jay’s credibility and the sequence of events than Serial presented.
