Nobody needs a car that can do 0-60 in under 2 seconds. It’s absurd that anyone with $150,000 can just place an order for this level of rolling vehicular manslaughter from the factory. If you want to run faster than 12s, you should have to build it yourself.

Exactly. I’d buy a 981 over a 718 without hesitation solely for the N/A engine, even though the 718 is objectively better in every way. Sports cars - especially those not chasing bleeding-edge performance figures - are primarily about the joy of driving.
