Can’t think of a recent performance car facing higher stakes when it was released.

Just buy what you want and forget the stereotypes. I’ve had insults hurled at me for the last three cars I’ve owned. People are morons.

Ferrari 250LM is the only one I can think of, and that was an ultra-low-production holomogation special.

Agreed, this is the only reservation I have about the mid-engine platform. The Corvette’s storage space makes it easily the most practical two seater on the market.

God have mercy on Formula E if this man gets involved.

Question for C6Z owners: any experience with abrupt snap-oversteer at the limit? Much was written back in the day about it....as in, everything is going fine and then “Holy @#$#@”. I heard suspension tweaks for MY07 and MY08 lessened it, and the optional magnetorheological suspension on later cars lessened it further.

Their advertising is far more effective at convincing current smokers to switch brands than convincing non-smokers to smoke. I’m all for regulation certain forms of tobacco advertising (I deal with the health outcomes every day at work), but banning logos on cars seems a bit much.

Also, I live in a neighborhood of mostly 18-35 year olds, and there is a TON of vaping going on. To be fair, I’d rather have them vape than inhale cigarette smoke

They certainly consider their ad money well-spent - but AFAIK most forms of tobacco advertising are far more effective at getting established smokers to switch brands than they are at enticing non-smokers. The exception to this is advertising aimed at kids, which is why Joe Camel caused such a stink.

In fairness to the kid, he’s had some good drives in terrible cars. Would he be in F1 were it a pure meritocracy? Perhaps not. But he’s not a rolling chicane, nor is his driving style akin to a Sidewinder missile with a fried seeker, a la Hugo Chavez beneficiary Pastor Maldonado

The world’s largest cigarette plant is about 5 miles south of where I’m sitting right now. I see a giant cig-shaped statue with “MARLBORO” emblazoned on it every time I pass the plant on I-95. Somehow I don’t think seeing the word “Marlboro” is inducing thousands of drivers on I-95 to start smoking. Nor would seeing

This smells like one of those many urban planning ideas over the past 100 years that sound great in theory....so great that no one thinks of the unintended consequences.

Almost bought one a few years ago. I didn’t have time to do an exhaustive search, so IMS and other issues scared me off. They’re a hell of a used bargain if you find the right one, though.

1st Gear: sounds like they have the hots for each other, which should manifest itself in many a battery fire.....

Are the greens manscaped?

I’m actually right of Trump on many things, even though I don’t like his whole schtick....

Best take on this site all week.

Put it in the 8-series. NOW.
