I’m beginning to think that maybe shows based on classic dystopian novels work better if they’re not turned into extended serials. It tends to dilute the impact of the source material. I’m just trying to imagine this applied to Orwell:

Indeed. Not seeing news about Metroid Prime Trilogy port/remaster is the ONLY disappointing thing about this Direct for me.
More likely there were a bunch of skeptics who ordered it and while eating the real meat burgers, thinking they were the Impossible burger, they were saying, “Yuk! This is terrible! It tastes nothing like the real thing!”
The best part is that there were probably a lot of people eating these real burgers and saying, “wow, these bullshit, non-meat abominations actually taste like the real thing!”

Very excited for this. The trailer was stunning. I loved Blindspotting’s take on the gentrification of Oakland last year and it was a supremely underrated movie. Can’t wait to see how this turns out.
