I would argue that the majority of people watching Let’s Play videos weren’t going to buy it in the first place. so how are there any lost sales? It’s something we can’t really quantify.

Unfortunately I think all of it has to do with money. i’m no business analyst, but it seems to me that they’re less likely to lose much of anything from pulling ads from Youtube than they are from the highest rated cable network on TV.

Honestly this is a good thing. It opens the door to touch-centric games like Hearthstone and maybe Kingdom Hearts Unchained x which I may or may not have put like 100s of hours into already.
