It wasn’t a simple re-branding. The CW spawned from both UPN and The WB. It’s a joint-venture by CBS and Warner Bros.

Contact 2: After the Armageddon
Maybe. Always nice to meet new people at Ubi SF at any rate. :)
Thanks!! Will do!
Not sure I follow. Ubisoft would have him (and any other employee of theirs) under NDA regardless of whether I choose to comment on Kotaku or any other forum.
Sorry, my answer is going to be lame. Even if I did know what his opinion is regarding that, there’s no way I’d share it here or anywhere really for that matter. This is out of respect for my husband and his employer.
my question is where does this fall in the Keeping Up with the Kontinuity Errors timeline?
He is a developer and has no control over pricing or marketing. This is a question he would not be able to answer. My apologies. :-(
Absolutely! I kind of know what to expect this time around, since I learned what it was like when he was on Rocksmith, so I am prepared to deal with it. From what I gather, he’s having a great time working on it because really how can you not have a good time working on South Park? hehe
My husband is one of the devs on this at Ubisoft SF, and while I’m kept in the dark as to what the finished product will be like (fun NDA times), seeing articles like this really lift my spirits and gives me great hope that all these long workdays he’s putting in will be so worth it.
Agree with this 100%
We were a Nintendo and Sega house. I have a sister who also played video games, but nah, games were heavily marketed to young boys growing up - in magazines and otherwise.
Nintendo keeps most all of their franchises culturally neutral, which probably had a positive effect for male and female players alike, but I don’t think we can assume they did this to specifically target one sex over the other.
I don’t believe that The Legend of Zelda and Silent Hill were created to specifically target a female audience. These games were created and developed in a country that has/had an entirely different set of values/customs than we do in the west, and I think it’s probably a little disingenuous to suppose they were…
That clip was also from last year’s presentation.
Honestly they’ve been talking about more frequent patches since WotLK. I think it would be wise to take everything Chilton says with a grain of salt.
I am a selfish Mercy. I love playing her and take pride in getting people through a match and even being able to turn the tide of a game with a smart or clutch resurrection.
Not a millennial here, but your archaic way of understanding how online games work is what got you all of these replies so maybe you should just blame yourself and call it a day.
I mean it is pretty bizarre. It’s not an offline game. Online only games, whether it’s a moba or mmo or team-based shooter, have a TOS that every user agrees to.
