I think you're waiting for Nintendo Lab-ia.

I know they’re worried about legal ramifications, but at some point I think Valve just needs to come out and say:

“Don’t report on this because the developer will find out” remains the dumbest fucking criticism that pops up all the time in the comments on this site.

I know it is a small sample size, but I work in a grade school where the past year and a half has been heavily dominated by Fortnite talk. I don’t think there is a kid in my school who hasn’t played it and subsequently wouldn’t stop talking to me about it when they found out I had played it (sparingly). Well I am

I agree. They should have done this a long time ago.

It will be mourned, but not by me.

Honestly? Good. I understand it’s a classic, popular fighting game, but it’s time to freshen up that scene, and for every person there was that loved melee, there seemed to be just as many who were pissed and tired that a 15+ year old game kept getting the main stage attention at Evo instead of newer titles, and

Absolutely. In addition to PUBG, both H1Z1 and Minecraft had BR before Fortnite. Epic was even sued by PUBG’s publisher for copying BR (not least because PUBG was built on Epic’s game engine, which they had paid to licence, so Epic had deep visibility into PUBG’s plans) but it went nowhere (it’s pretty much

Reveals and stuff like this make me wish I still played. I played every season through ten I think, and I made an effort to collect everything I could.

100% correct.

Let’s be honest, it’s not the revive that is making apex popular, it’s the fast movement and gunplay. Add in the fact fortnite is going on 2 years old—-no matter how popular (outside of WoW—and mmo’s in general) your game wont last more than 3 years MAX....its getting stale.

The pressure is on. Fortnite just realized that they just can’t go another season with the same old garbage gameplay. So glad I stopped playing that crap. Apex Legends is shitting all over Fortnite and now they must copy.

The term ‘fag’ is widely used as a general insult and often-times when it’s used, it’s not targeting that specific group of people.

Why must you continue to report on things that are—now, not only incredibly more illegal in Japan and still illegal in the US; but also—bound to be hit with legal action by one of the most litigious companies in the world?

Actually to follow up on EJ’s comment. Fighting games have always interested me, since I was 9 years old scouring the washing machine lining and couch cushions for lost change to take to my local corner café to play various versions of Street Fighter 2. Since selling my entire comic collection, to get enough money to

See, I’m with ExplodingJuice here. There are plenty of competitive scenes with intense rivalries and personal backstories but it’s still handled sportsmanly. I always hear about the FGC comparing themselves to wrestling, with heels and drama and whatever. But all I ever see is some of the worst, most toxic stuff

Here’s the thing for me:

I grew up in the 80s and early 90s. I remember very clearly games being a complete (though sometimes broken in ways that never got fixed) experience right out of the box.

Games have changed since then—they have evolved. And as the games themselves have changed, so too has the business that

That’s hilariously stupid. I hope we get extra mail delivery when Trump dies.

So the takeaway here is the only thing more obnoxious then Pewdiepie is his fans? Got it.

Homophobic
