So we’ve gone from Kinja not showing us links to where folks replied to Kinja not notifying us when we get our precious stars? Jesus Christ.

Old World

Anyone who thinks Elon Musk would make an ideal romantic partner doesn’t deserve to be taken seriously.

“You all have phones don't you?"

According to one of the former developers, attempts to break-away from the studio’s past house-style has led to some internal tensions, as teams debate prioritizing gameplay over the game’s writing.

I hope the fruit dresses provacatively.

‘the game is only fun for me if I can tell myself I’m making it not fun for someone else’.

A few weeks here and there can be done - the annoying thing is more that you have to know how to time it. The seasons are pretty much all designed with a lull in them - but leaving right before a new season comes out, or leaving for an entire season, can make it feel like you fell way behind.

Perfect example - A gun side quest landed yesterday that required you had the missions of the three previous weeks completed... I would have preferred to have NOT had to go back to “catch up” to start this quest, but that’s the situation I was placed in.

I also didn’t appreciate when they took away like four planets from the game and added back... one new one and one from the original game.  I paid for the DLC for Mars and Mercury and all this stuff and they just snapped their fingers and the content I paid for was gone and replaced by stuff that was hidden behind

Destiny has always been (and I include the first with the second) the most gorgeous, absolutely best-feeling gunplay game with really fucking cool lore, but the most shallow story experience.

“Bungie has managed to partition out new content and patches so that nearly every week brings with it something else to check out”

I have spent 10 minutes playing Destiny, and then trying again for Destiny 2. Got bored real fast.

I would rather accidentally credit people who worked 10 minutes on a project then intentionally not credit people who worked 100 hours on it.

If you don’t think NFTs are a scam you probably think crypto isn’t a scam, either.

The Elite Forces games are solid first person shooters, but I am sure they look a bit dated. Bridge Commander is a Bridge simulation game, but I found it to be a bit difficult.

I’d say that depends on how dedicated you are to experiencing all things Star Trek and how sensitive you are to aging technology.

I played both Elite Force and Elite Force 2 back in the day and loved them.  I can’t speak about the other games.  The price is pretty good so why not pick them up?

All I can clearly remember is being mesmerized by what at the time was the amazing destructibility of the ships in Bridge Commander.

As a Star Trek fan who has never played any of these games, are any of them worth the money this far after their release?
