Do you have any idea if there will be international shipping? I've been cookie free for three years and it SUCKS. D:

OHMYGODYES.

My husband is the one who has problems with this in our relationship. I'm perfectly happy to rely on my dog or coworkers for random shit I want to do, but my husband is of the mind that we should do everything together because we're a couple. Normally I indulge him as much as I can, but it gets to be a bit much.

I walked in on my parents once when I was about 5 or 6 and couldn't sleep, but they covered pretty well and it wasn't until years later that I realized what they had been doing. (I also realized that my brother was probably conceived around then.)

Me me me! Come to Korea! ;)

To be fair, this would be good for college student potlucks, where a lot of the time all you have access to is a microwave. Or like my current situation, where no one I know has an oven. :(

I work at a kindergarten, and I see at least one Elsa dress a day. Some of them are so sparklyyyyyyyyy~

I always take the obvious toiletries (soap, shampoo, etc) and often take things like pens or stationary (sometimes intentionally, and sometimes I just forget to put them back after carrying them with me all day), but I always leave everything else. The only thing I've ever taken that I considered "stealing" was a

One of my coworkers has larger-than-average breasts and every time she complains about the kids trying to touch them or making strange comments, the Korean teachers say, "They're just not used to such large bodies!"

Speaking as someone whose parents transplanted her there at an early age, I can assure you that it basically is.

My great-grandmother had her last child really late compared to the others, so she was born right around when my grandfather (who married early) started making his own family. Then when my great-grandmother got remarried to an emotionally abusive man who wouldn't let her take her daughter to the hospital when she was

Dear lord, fan death. Hubs always insists that if I turn the fan on either the window or the door has to be open too. I asked him if he actually believed it and he was like "Of course! D:"

Cats shouldn't be wet.

Thiiiiis is the one I was remembering! I was sitting here going "who the fuck is Tirek?" but I definitely owned this VHS and watched it randomly all the way up through middle school or so.

Yeah, I'm an extremely indecisive person, but I solve this by sucking it up and not forcing my friends to do things for me. I'm a big girl, I can deal with it myself.

Does anyone have any good Thanksgiving recipes that don't require an oven? My other foreign coworkers and I are planning on having a Thanksgiving potluck, but this being Korea I don't have an oven. Ideally I want to stay away from salads, just because it feels like a cop-out. I have a stove, a microwave, and a

Location and environment are also extremely important factors. When I was a small child (under 8) in Indiana in the early to mid- 90s, we lived in a subdivision where everyone knew everyone else and there was a great deal of trust. My parents never worried about where I was when I was out playing or if I would be okay

This is really timely, because we just finished an article on Ada in the reading class I teach to fifth graders. They're Korean kids, so it's a very simplified biography, but the kids were suitably impressed by her vision, especially the girls.

Yeah, that's what I found out later. I was in college and it was the first time I'd tried donating so I'd had no idea.

Even better: I had sex with a bi man and they refused my donation. I was so incredulous, I think I just left without saying anything.
