The 2024 Toyota C-HR is basically a Prius crossover that we can’t have don’t want.

It was offered elsewhere in the world as a hybrid. In fact, I think North America may have been the only place it was offered with a gasoline-only drivetrain. It was exclusively a hybrid in other markets.

So, here’s the thing that you didn’t mention about the original C-HR.

It’s a Toyota Plug-In Hybrid so even if it were available in the US, it wouldn’t be available for purchase anyways.

You can’t see it in those photos but like the original C-HR, rear door panel goes all the way to the edge of the rear fender flare, not just that triangular bit of sheet metal in its primary color.
