Went to a local car show this weekend, except.... there were no cars there.

came here to say this - and knew someone would have beaten me to the punch when I saw over 80 responses.
First gear:
Second Gen Honda Fit Sport - Why I love it:
My favorite so far is the first gen CR-V’s. They offer the perfect mix of simplicity and utility, and will take on just about anything you throw at them while staying completely dead reliable.
- Simple 90's dashboard, physical buttons and knobs for everything.
Oh, Oh, Oh, Pick me! Pick Me!
The humble Dodge Neon. Because you saw them everywhere, in all sorts of configurations. Lifted? Sure. Lowered? Of course. Carbon fiber hood wrap? You better believe you’d see it. Doors removed? Don’t know why, but they were out there. They were a very typical sedan, and people did all sorts of things with them.
I would prefer to buy a small car over a larger vehicle because it is easier to drive, less anxiety about parking the thing, better fuel economy, and the feeling that you are not wasting so much space in a smaller vehicle if you are driving by yourself or one passenger 99 percent of the time.
No kidding. If one of my cars has a fatality right now, I’m just buying a beater in cash to get me by, until I can actually buy a car at a fair price again from a dealer.
Ferrari. Look at the different models included in the top 100 auction prices ever obtained for vehicles, and look how many of them are Ferraris.
McParland actually recommended one of these to me. I love mine.
Weird is an option? Ok hear me out here.
Jesus. Best of ongoing luck to you. This is horrifying. wow.
I actually might buy this!!!
I second the motion for a Type R touring package.
Options I’d like to see for old folks like me:
The turbine wheel covers are factory and have centers that poke out in amazing fashion, just like Friends-era Jennifer Aniston’s nipples.
Agreed. I assume the spoiler is easy enough to remove. Then you have a really nice car.
Well said. I feel like it takes it from looking great to trying too hard.
It’s subtle, maybe a little too subtle... or maybe it’s just cause the previous one was so over the top. The only thing I don’t like is that spoiler, which looks like something picked up from a chain auto parts store and stuck in an awkward location on the back. Otherwise, I like it.
