Agree, but $10k doesn't get you much.

Here in Tampa Bay the Honda dealers have rafts of Accords, Passports, and CR-Vs

I have the cilantro gene, so I starred you and made your post black!

I posted same for the ACD.

Tough choice!

Yesterday I was at my local Honda dealership for a warranted repair, and I was shocked at how many new vehicles were on the lot. Row after row especially of new Accords, CRVs, and Passports. I can't imagine that's unique to Palm Harbor Florida.

I would love one of these!

Neutral: the current Subaru ad with the tennis ball.

It didn’t help that CEO Sergio Marchionne trashed it as too small inside. I’d never buy anything from Stellantis (too many horror stories with rentals), but some folks seem to think the V6 is good.

I agree. There’s nothing else I want in the new car market.

My best friend has a Scion iA, which of course is a rebadged (and sadly refaced) Mazda 2. It’s exceptionally nice inside, both in design and materials, and it’s geared perfectly for its meager horsepower. Quiet and comfortable too. Mazda has a right to call itself premium it seems to me.

Tricked it.

You will think I’m crazy, but I have always loved the BME E60, preferably a pre-facelift 530i with the sport package.

SC300 with its delicious inline 6 and a manual.

Wait, I forgot about the Fiesta ST.

Suzuki Swift with the turbo.

Agreed.

I’ll keep my Fit (forever) and would love to add a second gen CRX Si. Given they’re as rare as hen’s teeth in good condition, and then expensive as gold, I’ll take an ND Miata when they get to 5 figures.

Per my other post, the folks who are telling me they will not buy a Tesla are in no way enthusiasts. They are, however, politically attuned, and would otherwise been his market.

I had precisely this conversation with several friends today. They will not buy Tesla because they despise Musk. And they are potential purchasers.
