I love Talisman! I've been obsessively collecting the 4th Edition stuff for about 3 years now (I think!) after spotting it in a comic shop and getting a rush of nostalgia harking back to when I inherited a 2nd edition version of the game over a decade previously (though I ended up losing it in the sprawling fortress

You can infer terror from the girly screams and from the reactions of my friends nearby.

You know that scene in the matrix where Neo's mouth starts to seal itself? Latex can be a lot like that, though it's really easy to make narrow slits to breathe through. One fairly cool property of liquid latex is that your skin can, more or less, breathe through it so it can be comfortably worn for hours at a time...

it's a weird contradiction. In the UK you only have to be over 16 to have sex, but you need to be over 18 to see it. Keep your eyes closed, kids!

are eyes cavities? in any case, liquid latex has the nasty habit of sticking your eyelashes together which definitely results in impeded vision, though growing up in the countryside near dark woodlands, I'm pretty well versed in climbing trees without a huge reliance on sight (though I could still see)...

come at me, bro!

Fsss, you call that creepy? I used to linger in trees in the park with my facial cavities sealed by liquid latex. Creeping people out is an artform, and I grade this work a C-!

It's a tricky balancing act, that's for sure, though arguably the better approach would be to sit down with your child and have an (admittedly, awkward as hell) conversation about what they've seen and why it's important that they understand why women should not be objectified, etc etc rather than effectively ignoring

actually I'd say negative suggestion has more to do with it.

Like a never-ending cascade of worlds within worlds (or "mise en abyme")? Displace "game" or "simulation" with "dream" or "state of deepened consciousness" and it seem's more believable and does away with the fallacy of there eventually being a top-level universe in which someone created a simulation.

The music is great in this! It's an impressive feat all round, but the music was definitely my favourite part!

dressing as father jack and drinking pledge sounds like a better idea!

kind of unrelated, but I have this amazing idea for trolling this halloween, but alas, I live in a rural area, away from places I could put said prank into operation, but if anyone wants to carry the torch, feel free;

and so they turned him into a martyr. Good job!

I'm glad you said that. The Bin Laden assassination, along with the Hussein execution are abhorrent events in recent history.

Stay away from the summoner!!!

I like this idea...

Spartacus:Legends looks a lot like Deadliest Warrior, which I dare say is one of my favourite fighting games this generation (Yeah, the new Mortal Kombat was awesome, Tekken 6 was great, SF4 and Blazblue were far more in depth, yadda yadda yadda, but the game that gets put on when friends come round is Deadliest

Far cry 2 was the game that coaxed me into buying my first surround sound back in the day... I was on the fence but sound is so important in that game that it finally got my to splurge... No going back now (my kingdom for Farcry 2 running on an oculus rift and a decent set of gaming headphones!)...

No, they're rebuilding the game from the ground up to work in the source engine... Xen is getting an entirely new area (because it sucked in the original) and many areas have been retooled... it's all in the forums and QAs (I was a big lurker there a few years back!)
