After sleeping on it, it doesn't make sense to be a flashback. So far, the show's been good about noting which scenes aren't in chronological order (Tulip's romp through the corn field with "Not that long ago" on screen). No reason to break style now.

Yeah, I'm wondering about that because Zack called that scene a flashback, but Sepinwall noted that the guys were mysteriously alive again. It could honestly go either way.

An article mentioning The Night Shift without that glorious key art? What is the Internet coming to?

The theatre troupe might've been a completely useless plot line in the third season of Deadwood, but it meant we got to watch Brian Cox and Ian McShane play off each other so… I'll keep it.

I live out of market so I subscribe to MLB.tv. I don't miss Sterling and Waldman.

I'm so, so sorry.

Considering how often mine hurt, I can confirm that penguins do have knees.

I like how my home state wonders whether weed is bad, and my current state, where it's legal, wants to know where Waldo is because… it's probably someone who's high.

It was hardest in the airplane when he seemed to be talking much faster and not enunciating. I had less of a problem in the bar scene afterwards.

Totally didn't recognize him at first. I was expecting Dan Dority.

That's how I took it. No one tell me otherwise.

Yeah, Tulip had some Job vibes.

The 9pm time slot means it'll air at 7pm here. That's… disconcerting.

I read the (I think) first two volumes of the comic back in the day. I remember enough to get the gist, but not enough to give a crap about the actual adaptation process. I just want good television, and so far, this could be good television. Dominic Cooper gets brownie points for being Howard Stark. Tulip is

Team Cap.

I love rewatching stuff. A second watch should be a rewarding experience because you can find all the other layers in the work. Something like The Sixth Sense, and Shyamalan's entire oeurve, has one point to make. And it's not even that interesting a point.

I knew the "twist" before I saw the movie, and I thought it was a slog to get through. That movie is Exhibit A of the problem with "twist" plotting.

Yeah, it aired in the US. I remember watching it, and liking it a lot. That's still my first thought when it comes to Anthony Michael Hall.

And now I have ideas for the next cat.

Uh… Sure?
