The ending of Lost was for all intents and purposes, a happy one. I don't see Lindelof ending The Leftovers on a dour note. Especially given the finales of both season one and season two of Leftovers. They all hinged on a reunion. As did Lost.

You're not alone, the song moved me to tears, it has very powerful sentiment amidst amazing production. I got quite emotional, you could definitely feel the realness of what Adele was conveying as a person, to us the listener. That's her truest talent as an artist.
I definitely agree, from the moment I heard Chasing Pavements on the radio, I had to find out who this artist was. Here I am years later and still, that song is as memorable as the first time I heard it, and she's cranked out literally dozens more songs equally as unforgettable.
Xavier, not Xander.
I had the exact same thought, I hadn't heard it until I listened to the album, and I think it might be her best song she's made.
While We Were Young is one of the best songs I've ever heard, it really blew me the fuck away the moment I heard it. But god, the production really is incredible, the richness of her voice, the strength of the composition of each song really rings true through the album. I think 21 had this phenomena around it, that…
Let the mystery be.
Since the departure, or? In season one's flashback episode, Kevin picks up Tommy from a police station. Tommy was going to see his real dad. Tommy and Kevin go back home, and Kevin opts not to tell Laurie about this. Just wasn't sure if you were solely joking or what.
I don't think it's hyperbole, I definitely left that episode thinking the same thing. That may've been one of the best episodes of any television show I'd seen. The performances, the direction, the culmination of so many different storylines, the confrontations, the revelations, all of it. Absolutely perfect.
Just the weight of that phone call as well. Not just it being Laurie, but these two characters, these two phenomenally strong female characters are finally having this interaction, and it's over the phone, and LAURIE IS TALKING. The gravity of that was felt by me. And it isn't like what we see with Nora and Erika.…
I think it shows the length at which he is willing to go, to get what he wants. Whether you call that a testament to his faith, or something else entirely, I'd rather see it than do away with it. Keep in mind, Matt's episode in season one, was filled with a lot of dogged determination as well. He beat a man, seemingly…
I mean, that's why he's the compelling television character who feels he must atone for something, and you're the one commenting about him on the internet. I hope this isn't a bar you hold all television shows to, because if you're watching going "I can make better decisions than this character", then I think you need…
"And then how can the audience sympathize with him?"
Sorry, but The Sopranos ended close to a decade ago.
I feel like he should be in FX's Fargo, or taking a role similar to Bob Odenkirk's in Breaking Bad. Just a small bit part in a dramatic show, build back some credibility or something. You only get so many chances at bat, and he's had like twenty now.
There appears to be a hierarchy within the town, that he is on the top, or at least upper crust of. Given how people seem to bend to his will, and he is known throughout the city. I think anything goes in small town America.
I did see your initial reply where you had written "fix a girl's shrink", and I wondered for a moment if you had implied that Michael fucked Laurie Garvey.
The first Mega Man is very noticeably different in mechanics and feel compared to what Mega Man 2 establishes. Out of the original 2D NES Mega Man titles, the original is likely the worst. Although Mega Man V and VI are not so hot either.
Didn't he find out the news after they'd already discovered the print? As a police officer he'd likely known that tampering with evidence isn't something cops often take lightly. Although the show didn't cover it, there would also likely be a man's footprints all over the drained pond, prior to the search party…
Pardon the pun, but there isn't really anything concrete on Kevin aside from that. I think the bigger concern isn't the law / the police, but his already-served-time-for-attempted-murder neighbor.
