Damnit, David! I’m a doctor not a mechanic!

Yeah it was dumb, but damn it would hard to drive that thing anywhere near legal speeds.

Whenever I’ve blown a head-gasket the vehicle overheats and blows white smoke out the tailpipe. It doesn’t just stop. Also the oil would turn a milky color from the coolant getting into it.

Did you attempt to get compression by hand? See if it builds anything up?

Demon isn’t AWD to my knowlege. Who has boosted SRT8 jeeps? Are they from FCA Factory?

Testing cars on tracks is all fine and good, but it doesn’t have to be that one particular track in sausageland. Don’t most manufacturers have their own proving grounds anyway?

The thing is, running the Nurburgring does require some compliance in a suspension. Lots of sections of the track are in rough shape, and coupled with the sudden elevation changes, you want something well-damped, not just as stiff as possible. The goal for most testing is not the fastest time at all costs, but

You want to comprehensively test a car’s handling. Do you:

Nope. Because then you have builders like these guys...

Guys I did it!

Uh...you can get a “fun” Camaro for way under 40 grand.

Most likely because not enough cupholders

Congratulations, Mr. 450X_FTW, on COTD! I would like to gift you with a Mini Cooper which this lovely lady will deliver after she loads her dogs and groceries.

This is an important debate in history of technology; let’s call it False Starts vs. First Success. And then you have to define success.

This appears to be something specific to Alberta.

Also: you should not really be changing lane in a roundabout at all (see caveat below on meaning of this phrase). If you are using a multi-lane roundabout and enter it using the left lane, you should exit from the left lane into the left hand exit lane. Ditto for entering and exiting using the right lane. Obviously
