So in the regards of any future plans, titles, and such being leaked, I say “you reap what you sow.”

This is a fantastic review and write-up. I’ve no personal attachment to the TurboGrafx but am always interested in these kinds of systems and it is a good way to preserve game history.

I’m not normally one to get satisfaction out of stuff like this, killed me to see Cyberpunk at launch, but this shit? I’ve been waiting to see this dumpster fire, and it’s fucking glorious.

jesus christ who greenlighted this, it’s just a maximalist glitter-sploodge. yikes!

Secondly, it’s the complexity of the card. The more detail present, the more popular cards tend to be, and this terastallized Charizard is a spectacular piece of art”!!!!

I get why he agreed though. Even if there was zero legal basis for it, they could ruin his entire life with baseless lawsuits forever, and it would cost them basically nothing compared to what they bring in.

There are few things in this world more terrifying than a rich person with a grudge.

On Rockstar’s part, this is a case of zero to gain, reputation to sink further than it already is.

I dont’ know if I didn’t communicate it very well, but I think there’s a difference between “I didn’t like this / I’m disappointed by this” and “I am actively angry about this”. While I disagree with both positions, what I actually find disturbing is the latter. Not liking a show or a movie is fine, absolutely nothing

I went into this show completely blind, only knowing the title, and ended up thinking it was better than the manga/movie. I think there's a lot to be said about expectations in general, especially with established IPs like this where fans think things should be set in concrete. I personally find that shedding all

People say they were betrayed because its a literal betrayal of their expectations for the show. IDK what other word they could use if you think betrayal is too strong, but the fact is they had a built in expectations from this being advertised as a remake of Scott Pilgrim and the trailers didn’t do much to change the

And that’s fair if you wanted something else and didn’t get it, and didn’t like the series for that reason; that’s totally fine.  But people who agree with your overall sentiment and also behave as though they were ‘betrayed’ by it not being something else, or worse, that the creators ‘owed’ them something else is

The number of people angry that we didn’t get a beat-for-beat retelling of the story we’ve already gotten twice now to one degree or another is... baffling to me. Like I’ve seriously seen people arguing that the advertising should have ‘been more honest about what the show was’, like they were just supposed to give

Respectfully disagree. Halo Infinite is actually one of the best multiplayer shooters that has released this gen. Think about it hard, you’ll see I am right

For all intents and purpose: Most games have an unofficial early access release these days. That last Battlefield game is also “good now.”

*Game that was released two years ago is good now.*

Or...people who realize the only way ActiBlizz will regain the shine of old is to have new ownership.  Former Blizzard employee here.

Those are either blind fanboys, people in denial, or capital C capitalists.

Yet everyone is out here celebrating the ActiBlizz sale like it’s not one of the worst things to happen to gaming

Seconded, AAA games have long been in the mindset of bigger games, bigger budgets, bigger payout...but it’s been killing the diversity of the market...most of these massive publishers will be lucky to put out 4 games in a year now instead of EA and Activision during the PS2 / Gamecube / Xbox era where both were

“If we continue to coalesce around the four or five genres, then we won’t get the new players because those people have already said we’re not interested in your genres,” Layden said. “Don’t kid yourself that someone who’s said ‘no’ to Call of Duty for the last 15 years is going to start suddenly saying ‘yes’ to Call
